Gorgeous property and so close to a lot of restaurants/eateries. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. There’s a lot of opportunity to bond with the others in the hostel at the bar in the garden, or while making lunch/dinner or even just walking around. 10/10 place for solo travellers, would definitely recommend :)))

It’s a nice place to stay, breakfast is really good with plenty of choice. Nice to have an outside place to relax and a nice bar next to it too. Location is fine and not far by walk or subway from everything to visit. Just felt unsafe around this area to walk alone late at night.

Clean and comfortable, a beautiful aesthetic, excellent location, and importantly to us: an *exceptional* breakfast. It was complete with great variety, fresh, delicious, and filling. The luggage room was also helpful for us on a couple of occasions. We couldn't have asked for me.

The room was nice and spacious. Staff were great all the way throughout. Hostel itself was clean and other guests were respectful around noise - one group needed a quiet word from staff but it was a pleasant exchange and clear the group hadn't realised the lateness of the hour! The neighbourhood is lovely and perfectly situated for access to the centre with a tram/bus stop right outside and the subway a short walk away. If I had to pick a flaw it would be that our room only had a skylight, not a proper window but as we were just needing a place to sleep it wasn't a huge issue for us.

As a female solo traveller, I had a very positive experience at Sant Jordi Hostels in Lisbon. The staff were kind, attentive, helpful, and just overall an amazing group of people! The property itself is beautiful, clean, well maintained. I felt very safe, as security cameras are located throughout the hostel, the main entrance door is only accessible by key card, and the individual rooms are also only accessible with your key. The hostel is in a very convenient location close to many nearby restaurants, shops, etc (I walked everywhere). There are tram and bus stops right in front of the hostel too, so it is very easy to get around. The metro is about a 6 minute walk away. I had most of my meals out, but I had the hostel breakfast one morning, and it is decent for the price, and convenient if you just want a quick breakfast. Many convenience stores with fruits, vegetables, juice, water, chips, other snacks etc, are located not far from the hostel, and are usually open quite late. Overall, I had a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this hostel.

People were respectful, the kitchen was clean and full of utilities with a separate place to sit and eat. There was a very nice backyard and my room even had a private balcony. Wifi was good, the bed confortable, A/C was on during the day. I didn't participate to the hostel activities, but there was a calendar in the lobby. Closed to the subway green line, next to the tram 28 or 30 mins walk to downtown, it was nice to be off the tourist area but closed enough with public transport.
