I stayed here for five weeks while attending a Portuguese language school in Lisbon, and it was the perfect home away from home.
Luís and Maria were exceptional hosts from start to finish. They communicated promptly, answered every question I had, and made the entire stay effortless.
The location couldn’t have been better. It’s in the heart of Lisbon, yet just outside the busiest tourist areas, giving it a more authentic neighbourhood feel. A Pingo Doce supermarket is just steps away, while both Rossio and Terreiro do Paço metro stations are within easy walking distance. I could also comfortably walk to nearly all of Lisbon’s central neighbourhoods and major attractions.
There are four restaurants on the street, with many more only a few minutes away, including Honest Greens and the Michelin-starred Prado. The restaurants at the end of the street feature live music each evening until around 10 pm, adding to the atmosphere without ever being disruptive.
The apartment is beautifully decorated, combining modern comforts with the charm of a historic Lisbon building. I especially loved the four balconies, offering views towards the Tagus River on one side and Castelo on the other.
Everything I needed for a long stay was provided, including excellent air conditioning, a washer-dryer, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, air fryer, and a fully equipped kitchen. After five weeks, it truly felt like home. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking
