ok for one night but very basic. The room was clean but small. There are no amenities, not even coffee. The staff was very helpful though and we appreciated being able to leave our luggage to roam around the city on our last day. The breakfast was very minimal but did the job.

This was my second time staying at Dom Sancho and it was a great experience again. Very convenient and friendly staff. Super clean rooms and the air conditioning is excellent especially during the summer. I’ll definitely stay here again

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Dom Sancho I. From the moment I checked in, the service was impeccable, Vivian was particularly helpful with local recommendations/suggestions. The room was spotless, and very comfortable. I especially the breakfast buffet. It’s perfectly located near major sightseeing spots, making it easy to explore the city.

I would have given the hotel a much better rating if there hadn't been serious problems with the air conditioning unit in our room. If the hotel guaranteed to me that I would not have to suffer from this problem when staying at Hotel Dom Sancho I, I would happily stay there again. Why would I stay at Hotel Dom Sancho I again? The location is fantastic, with close proximity to so many things in all directions- including supermarkets. It's 5 minutes walk from Avenida metro station and 30 minutes on the metro to the airport. The building is old, but quaint. The lift to the 2nd floor reception and the 5th floor, where we stayed, works OK with just a little bit of hesitation on the 5th floor when you want to go down. The room was small, with a standing-room-only balcony, but the electric sockets all worked and the bathroom sink, toilet, bath/shower and extractor fan worked fine. The cleaning was adequate and the 2 reception staff were very nice guys with a good command of the English language. The outdoor temperature was 30C+. On the first night the air conditioning unit made scraping noises and didn't get the temperature down to 18C, which was what I wanted. On the second night, I tried dropping the temperature to 16C to see if it would get cooler than the first night. It got a bit cooler, but the air conditioning unit dripped water all night. This made sleeping more difficult than the first night. Solve the problem with the Air conditioning and I'll happily stay again.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, Unsere Zimmer war winzig. Das Badezimmer war nicht nur klein sondern auch unbequem. Das Frühstückraum ist so eng, dass man ständig mit den anderen Gästen zusammenstößt.

클래식한 분위기를 좋아해서 위치도 나쁘지않아 선택했는데, 역사적 명소도 아닌데 일단 모든 시설이 너무 낡아 방 안에서의 서비스는 딱히 받을 수 있는 게 없었던 것 같습니다. 그래도 직원분들이 참 친절했고, 간단한 조식이 포함돼 아침 요기를 할 수 있던 점은 좋았습니다. 위치는 공원 앞이고 명품 샵들 사이에 위치해있어 분위기는 나쁘지 않았습니다.

Imagine a room with nothing but a 140 cm bed, squeezed in so tightly that there’s barely space for two 40 cm nightstands on either side. The moment you open the 70 cm door, you’re practically falling onto the bed. But that’s not even the worst part—there is no window. Yes, no window at all. It’s a complete disaster.

I had such a great stay here. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment I arrived - they even offered to take care of my luggage before I checked in, which I really appreciated after traveling. The service was excellent throughout my stay, everything felt easy and well taken care of. The breakfast was also really good with plenty of options, and the whole place just felt comfortable and well run. They were very accommodating with anything I needed, and the WiFi was fast and reliable. Overall, just a really positive experience. I’d definitely stay here again.

Overall, a very good stay for the money. The location is convenient, the staff were helpful and pleasant, and the breakfast was good. The hotel was a good base for exploring Lisbon, and I felt it offered solid value. I would stay here again.
