We had an awesome stay! Location is right in the heart of the restaurant district! There is an awesome kids playground about a 2 minute walk that also has a drink stand with it that was perfect for our family. I would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again without a doubt!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa do Mercado during our visit to Lisbon. Located in the southeast corner of the Chiado neighborhood, the property is within easy walking distance of many popular sights and restaurants, including the Time Out Market, Lisbon Cathedral, and the Rua Augusta Arch. The B&B was beautifully furnished, reasonably priced, and—especially important during our visit—had excellent air conditioning. It reached nearly 100 degrees one day, so we really appreciated it! Despite overlooking a small courtyard with a popular bar, our room was remarkably quiet. The complimentary breakfast was a lovely way to start each day, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Pedro, in particular, went above and beyond, recommending several excellent local restaurants and arranging a fantastic Fado performance for us. His recommendations helped make our visit especially memorable. We would definitely stay at Casa do Mercado again when we return to this magical city!

Location was vey good. Close to everything. The apartment itself had several issues: Couldn't sleep with the noise from the bar downstairs. Low ceilings in the toilet and master and the other room too. The water when you showered spill water all over the place you can smell mold the minute you open the door from the apartment. Was very difficult for us to and down from the third floor been that we are 65 years old and the stairs were very narrow and steep.

The property was perfect for our stay! From the personal service at registration when we arrived to having a dedicated concierge person to help us navigate all the things we wanted to do in such a short time was unbelievable!! I can’t recommend this place enough! If you are headed to Lisbon, check this boutique place out! The location was perfect to get around and see so much. The livelihood on the streets was great to see and the breakfast was an added bonus! If I am back in Portugal, I would definitely be booking here again. Thank you to Pedro and Rodrigo

We can not recommend this place highly enough. Everything about our stay here was effortless, comfortable and enjoyable. The team communicated the self-check in process seamlessly, also offering a private transfer from the airport. The hotel is boutique, with beautifully appointed rooms, gorgeous views of the street and although centrally located is still quiet in the evenings. The room was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfy and no minor details were overlooked. The breakfast included was light but the perfect way to kickstart long days exploring Lisbon. Special mention to Pedro, the wonderful concierge, who was on hand at breakfast and also available via WhatsApp to offer local suggestions and recommendations.

Our stay at Casa do Mercado was absolutely wonderful! Pedro and the team went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our visit. We arrived without any plans, and Pedro was incredibly helpful — arranging restaurant reservations, recommending must-see sights, sharing tips on avoiding the big crowds, and even pointing us to the best sunset viewing spot. His local knowledge made all the difference and truly elevated our experience. The location is fantastic — just steps from the Time Out Market and within easy reach of so many of Lisbon’s top attractions, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. The continental breakfast was just right to give us the energy we needed to kick start the day. Thank you, Pedro and the entire Casa do Mercado team, for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!

Location, location, location! This property is in the best location to explore and enjoy Lisbon. Maria is phenomenal. Would stay here again. Just know there is no elevator so if have heavy luggage be prepared to carry up one flight of stairs. There are rooms on the first floor so maybe ask for one if that is the case. Great place to stay in Lisbon!

We had a wonderful stay. Pedro, the concierge, went above and beyond by suggesting restaurants and things to do. Our hotel room was clean, well equipped and had a great bed. The location was excellent. We were able to easily walk to transit and many sights. Next time we are in Lisbon we will definitely stay here again!
