Jorge and Cathedral Lovehome Apart is placed in the historical center of Lisbon, Alfama. Lovehome Apart is surrounded by several historical monuments such as Sé Cathedral and the Castle of St. Jorge. We stay exactly in the street to view point of Sta.Lúzia . In view point of Sta. Lúzia you can enjoy a wonderful view over the Tejo river. Lovehome Apart is 4 minutes walk from all the transports, Metro, Bus, Bus Tour, Boat or Train to go abroad. Alfama is a typical neighbourhood with good Portuguese food while listenning the Fado, an old and traditional Portuguese song. Late night you will find the best bars and Discos of Lisbon spreaded along the boulevard. The apartment is available with furniture, kitchen utenciles and bed linen and towels. This small but well appointed apartment in the historic Alfama neighborhood is a wonderful experience. The streets are narrow, the hills are steep, and the stairs - many, but the neighborhood is colorful. There are restaurants around every corner and All of them were delicious. People were so friendly. The apartment is quaint and cute. We truly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is charming but the best part was getting to know the locals. Due to unexpected circumstances, we had to extend our stay. Our host, Claudia guided us through the process and helped every step of the way. She even called us a taxi on the day of our departure, so we wouldn’t have to make an international call. Location of the property is wonderful for exploring Alfama. Not recommended for anyone not physically fit. Much walking is required, a car would be impractical and exploring involves almost constant climbing of hills and stairs. Rua de Adica is very hard to find the first time and it takes a few days to understand the maze of streets. Well worth it, though. Suggest taking a taxi or Uber when arriving the first time. Love the property, lots going on in the area. The bed is comfortable, but the bathroom is tiny and the shower is very small and takes some getting used to. Three tall women fit pretty well - though it was a little tight (shower is small), but we knew that going in. The S. Anthony Festival was just getting started and so there was a lot of activity right outside, but with everything closed up and a little white noise machine and a fan, it was not an issue. There are a lot of stairs to reach the apartment - more going up away from the apt. than going down (we caught Ubers on the closest major street down - across the street from the cruise terminal) and it was just a short walk. We had everything we needed in the apartment, and the wine and treats left by our host were very welcoming! Treppen muss man dort allerdings mögen 😉 (wie in vielen Teilen Lissabons). Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht- gut für zwei Personen.
