Liked: Cleanliness, communication, listing accuracy
The location of this apartment is excellent. Within easy walking distance of the main sights in the Alfama neighborhood. Everything in the apartment was in good working order with the exception of one of the doors that opened to the back balcony, which was permanently shut. That meant, you could only reach one of the chairs on the same balcony that is shown in the photos. It also meant that that it was more difficult to get the apartment to cool down once we arrived and found the inside to be at 27 degrees C. I would no recommend this apartment during the summer months as the heat could make things miserable. Also, I would not recommend this apartment for seniors as there are two flights of stairs to climb, and the sidewalks on the surrounding streets are missing cobblestones and therefore are rather treacherous to walk on. I sprained my ankle when I stepped on the side of a pothole and fell down in a heap.
