Summary: 'Hello Squiddy' is what we call this eclectic oceanfront condo. It can sleep up to four people by way of a king size bed, and a sofa bed. It has two full bathrooms and a full kitchen with its own dishwasher. This isn't a hotel room, this is a home! The beach access is literally right out the oceanside window. If the weather is stormy, stay inside and watch the waves from the amazing view of the oceanside suite. Don't forget about our indoor heated saltwater pool and dry sauna! The Space: Welcome to "Hello Squiddy," a fun, eclectic beachfront condo that is also known as Sea Gypsy Unit 216\. This is one of the newest condo to join the Sea Gypsy Rentals family. The condo will accommodate up to four vacationers comfortably. The the bed in the living room folds away during the day, giving you more room to play. There is a new king bed in the bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room. There are two full bathrooms and a full kitchen that includes a dishwasher and a Keurig. This condo is a true gem. On top of all its wonderful features —including two brand new 55-inch Roku TVs — the unobstructed ocean view simply cannot be beat. Ready for the beach? The Sea Gypsy has three beach access points, all with just a few steps down to the sand. Arguably, we have the best beach access in Lincoln City and the entire Oregon coast. The D River (which is the world's shortest) is right next to our building, featuring shallow areas for children to play in. Our facility is both beachfront and riverfront. Walk 10-15 minutes to the north where you will find natural tidepools. The Sea Gypsy has an indoor saltwater pool, plus a sauna. There are two gas grill on site, as well as a laundry facility. Guest Access: The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. There you will find a key that will grant you access to our indoor, heated salt water pool and dry sauna. This is a 2nd floor unit, there are 16 steps required to access the unit. The Neighborhood: 216 Hello Squiddy Getting Around: Enhance your Lincoln City experience by utilizing our local transit options! You can now schedule convenient pickups directly with Intercity Transit by calling them. Whether you're planning a trip to the beach, shopping areas, or local attractions, this service ensures a seamless and enjoyable exploration of our coastal town. Other Things to Note: This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility. There are three gas grills on site available for guest use. They are located next to our sparkling pool. The condo comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer. Interaction with Guests: Sea Gypsy Rentals manages more than 59 privately owned beachfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. Hello Squiddy was exactly as described and pictured. The view from the window was amazing! Having 2 bathrooms and a separate bedroom was a nice bonus. It looks like the place could easily be 2 rental units instead of the 1, with the 2 front doors side by side. We appreciated the extra space to spread out. I guess I would have to say I was just generally disappointed in this particular unit. I may try the property again but a different unit. Had we not stayed at Sea Gypsy before we probably would not return again. And I would never stay in this unit again. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable and it was a pain to have to unmake and remake it everyday. I've never seen a sofa bed that you could only get out of one side. Also the room was not very clean. The freezer door had something all over it and the room had not been dusted or very well vacuumed. I will not leave a review on yelp because I know from past experience that this room is not typical of the Sea Gypsy. Fortunately the friends we were with thought their bed was comfortable. Called 2 days before we came to see if we could have a fire on the beach, was told by staff, yes! It's NO! Fire Ban since August 6th. I went down to the office with my Granddaughter and was told once again, yes you can have a fire on the beach, went back and called Fire Dept, absolutely NOT! Room was filthy. Dishes had oil film on them. Fan in living room covered with dust and filth. Pool was out of order and sauna did not work. Trust me, I called the office was told there's nothing wrong with the pool or sauna have had no complaints but yet repair man was there and it was out of order until fixed! Was supposed to be a quiet ordinance but upstairs were up partying all night! No, would not stay here ever again! Also, internet goes in and out of service all the time! My boys said the pull out couch bed was comfortable as well as the chair bed.. the view was just as pictured! Perfect and full view of the beach and ocean... the one draw back was the king bed in the room was rock hard and very, very uncomfortable. Everything else was great!
