But the kindness, efficiency and friendly approach of the entire staff wouid cover everything. We had a problem with our shower for water flow and it was taken immediate action. The location is great, very quiet, very central, amazing. Should we plan another trip to Lijiang we would definitely come back to TheBivou. The sorrounding of the vegetable patches taken care by the local people is amazing. We loved also their food, not only breakfast as we tried also dinner and it has been original and excellent. We travel a lot, live in HKG, we have experience. First, the staff sets this place apart. They go all out to help guests. They have lots of great suggestions for activities and gave us great local maps to find little shops and restaurants. Second, breakfast is superb. They have a table with some cold offerings including delicious homemade Musli and then also offer a hot dish, in the two nights that we stayed both offerings were great. Third, the room is equally good. Confy beds, nice bathroom, and a cute balcony to the inner garden. Staff was very helpful and friendly, helped us to check our flight, arrange for a car and pack breakfast for us as we were scheduled to depart at 7am.
