When a hotel gets a score of 10 on booking sites it is probably overrated. Not here. I was travelling with two of my children and booked it by coincidence the night before our arrival. I enjoyed it tremendously. It is not a big chain hotel, so don't expect a big chain experience. It is a small boutique hotel that offers exactly what you are looking for in a place like Lijiang, and even more. Location is ideal, in the middle of town. Rooms are very confortable and furnished with taste, with great beds.The atmosphere is deliciously relaxed. But above all, the staff in charge is very, very kind and helpful. We wanted to travel for two days to Shangri-La and they arranged the perfect private driver for us. We had to leave at 4am to catch a plane to Beijing and they arranged the transfer (and woke up to see us leaving). We used two rooms during our stay and both were perfect.
