"The resort is beautiful! What a great location! The beach was perfect!
Lots of things on the property cost extra, such as $30 per night for parking. That would have been ok but many locals take the parking spots and don’t even have parking stickers. The parking lots were not monitored for those without stickers so makes me wonder if we could have just parked for free too.
Also, they only clean the rooms every other day so we were having to go find coffee pods and other supplies that we were out of.
Trash cans in the rooms were very tiny so we found ourselves having to take out our trash constantly."
"There was no coffee pot in room. There was amazing coffee in the lobby after 8am. But it was gone fast. Managed to get coffee 1 out of 4 days.
I recommend packing instant.
Not all rooms have air-conditioning
It is a 2 story building with stair way to upper level no elevator.
I would stay in a ground level room with air conditioning next time"
"Spent one night at the Kauai property.
Only glitch was at checkin only; one clerk to do it. Got behind a lady that had an issue with an upgrade? Maybe more personel needed. Quite irritating to say the least. 20 minutes of bliss!!"
"Property was nice and ocean front. Quiet and isolated from the rest of the hotels which is nice to avoid crowds. Everything is nearby, short 5-10 minute driving distance (groceries, restaurants, shopping). The Only downside and it was completely MY FAULT for not reading the property fee polices. Besides the normal nightly resort fees as all hotels have, they have a MANDATORY CLEANING FEE that is paid at check-in. So Besides spending the money for booking the room, you also pay a large lump sum at check-in. It was not a pleasant surprise, but it was MY FAULT for not catching it when booking the hotel and checking the fees. The hotel has their prices posted if you look up the cleaning fees for each room size. Although I had a good time staying at this location, I unfortunately wont be staying here again because of that pricey cleaning fee. The fee was more expensive than my airfare and nearly the same price as booking the room for 2 nights. For the total price i paid, Airlines + hotel + Mandatory Cleaning Fee, it didn't feel worth what i was paying. But if you dont mind that fee, its a good ocean front hotel with a nice view."
"The place was perfect for our 25th wedding anniversary! We did not spend much time there as we were often out exploring the island. We had a minor problem with the AC but the host responded quickly and it was resolved quickly. I would highly recommend this place."
"I loved the place! It fit 6 of us perfectly! Parking was easy as there’s many open spots to choose from. Early check in was only $50 so that was definitely an easy YES for us. The second bedroom (full bed) didn’t have a ceiling, it was just a wall and door from the hallway so you can hear everything from the hallway to that room which isn’t a problem if you don’t mind. Everything was extremely clean and the service was very easy, if we needed anything, we just asked the office and exchanged dirty towels every day! Also multiple AC units which kept the house nice and cold and a washer/dryer for convenience! There’s a cute shopping mall and lots of food walking distance and an extremely cute bar called Nawiliwili Bar & Lounge and I definitely recommend checking that out if you like that vibe. ONLY downside in my opinion is the lack of beaches in the area and main attractions. Poipu definitely has better beaches and attractions and more sun (at least when we were there). Overall, I definitely would rate this place a 10/10 with price/quality/cleanliness/friendliness and would 100% come back! Get a car and explore! <3"
