We were only there for one night as a stop on our drive south, but it provided a welcome rest and a chance to do laundry and relax. Check-in was delayed slightly as we had to wait to for the host to return, but our arrival time was uncertain due to some driving delays so that's no fault of his. "Useful place to stay on the outside of Cahors. If you aren’t aiming to go into the centre on a Sunday simple transport in. There are a variety of fast food restaurants around the hotel including an ‘eat salad’ one which was surprisingly good. However if you want something less casual there will be a need to travel as there is no restaurant on site. Breakfast was fine but did get quite crowded on one day of our stay. Would personally be happy to stay again."

"Great hotel to spend a few nights but not really suitable to stay for a week as rooms are quite small and lack a fridge. Bed and pillows are very comfortable and noise from other rooms minimal. Great breakfast with an excellent choice of fresh produce, pastries and nuts/dried fruit. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful and quick to respond to requests. All areas within the hotel are clean and well maintained. The hotel serves food at night (hot and cold buffet) and there are a few other places to eat nearby. The location is quiet as it is on the outskirts of Cahors. It is about a 30 minute walk to the centre via a path next to the road or through the retail park on the other side of the river."

"Gorgeous hotel across the river Lot from the medieval village of St Cirq Lopopie - provides a stunning view for swimming, dining and strolling. Lovely air conditioned large bedroom with en-suite walk in shower room. Everything was of the expected high quality - nearby (easy walk) is restaurant St Andre - fabulous and great value"

"Nice new room . A bit of information left out is location and street parking. The hotel is also under construction and hallways are not finished.restaurant not opened which I was planning on eating stand none in walking distance. No amenities in room for washing hair, just body soap."

"The Cottage is in an amazing location surrounded by forest and wildlife. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Amazing views. It was excellent apart from the high heat there is no air con but a fan supported the air circulation. All you ever need for cooking is available and the pool is excellent too. Anna the host is an Amazing host and good communicator. If you need anything She will get it for you. There are friendly deer that visit in the evenings and they are an amazing sight. The bedroom has a double bed with a very comfortable mattress. Good shower and wash room facilities all just perfect. The perfect chilling out place to enjoy."
