La Vista is a gorgeous new apartment, sitting quietly in the typical Lombardian lakeside village of Lezzeno, just 7 km from Bellagio. The apartment offers dramatic views across to Comacina Island, Villa Balbianello, the towns of Varenna and Argegno, and the Intelvi Valley beyond, separating Lake Como from Lake Lugano. La Vista is the idyllic retreat for those seeking peace and an opportunity to live as part of a traditional village community, yet enjoying the comfort of a modern apartment offering picture postcard views of Lake Como from every angle. Within easy walks from the property are restaurants, bars, pizzerias, water skiing and other activities as well as a pharmacy and a small grocery store. The apartment is newly and nicely furnished, light and airy. Upon entering, you enjoy a spacious living room offering breathtaking views of the lake and mountains beyond. This room has plenty of seating and a dining table that comfortably seats four. Also in the living room is a television and a door leading out to a private terrace where you can relax, al fresco while enjoying lake and mountain views like no other place on Earth. The kitchen has everything you need: refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, sink, gas range, oven, toaster and plenty of useful gadgets. The two bedrooms are accessed down a short corridor. The master bedroom has a double bed, plenty of wardrobe space and bedside tables with night lamps. The second bedroom has twin beds and generous wardrobe space as well. The bathroom is naturally well lit and has bathtube, bidet, wc, basin, hair dryer and washing machine. Iron and ironing board are provided. A private parking space is just outside the apartment. The 3 orientations of the windows are very good for that, and also allow for a natural ventilation, as we could check during the "african canicula" of this late July. We enjoyed staying in a quiet italian village instead of the tourists-crowded Bellagio, with small shops and several restaurants. It was our pleasure to be able to leave the car and visit the surroundings by boat and bus. The description on the website is really what you get when you are there. The flat is conveniently furnished and equipped, and clean. The welcome was friendly and efficient. ##### catherine G. Unfortunately, we were the first guests to actually stay in the apartment and that meant finding all the problems especially with appliances and power points, and missing items like detergent, dishwashing tablets, coffee pot, information booklet. The kitchen is extremely small (one person at a time) and no bench space for preparation or pantry items. Also you can't use the freezer. Can highly recommend the lakeside restaurant at Aurora just 10 minutes away for a wonderful meal - you need to make a reservation. Corrado was very helpful and provided a fan even though he said we wouldn't need it - but it's hot in July and we were grateful to have it. No doubt things will improve, we were just unlucky to be the first. ##### Lyn M.
