This is a wonderful hotel. Great location away but not too far highway so very quiet. The property is kept very very clean. Room was great, spacious and super clean. I was pleasantly surprised. While I didn’t use the pool or gym, they seemed good and well kept too. Great breakfast. Much better than bigger brand hotels. Definitely recommend!

Pros: clean room and peaceful location. Cons: No sound insulation between rooms. We could hear literally everything from the next door guest including blowing nose, talking on the phone, walking, flashing toliet, every TV sound loud, we couldn't sleep until midnight. Found bath sink was clogged, draining very slow after check in. Reception told us there will be no one to fix over the weekend.

Nice hotel, nice rooms. The pool was wonderfully warm after a long day of driving. Breakfast was great… a nice variety, good temperature, and beverage variety also. It is a bit of a walk from lobby/elevator to the breakfast room for those with mobility limitations.

The hotel was clean and well kept, though a little bit dated. The room was clean and well supplied. The heat system was very noisy, and had a continuous high pitch while running, as did the refrigerator. The breakfast was well stocked and was clean. The staff person did an excellent job of refilling supplies, when needed. The parking area seemed secure and safe. Overall, the hotel was very nice.

We booked this overnight stay during a long trip from SC to NY and due to my past good experiences with Best Western and its “Excellent” rating on Expedia, I thought it’d be the perfect fit. Upon arrival the staff was very nice, hotel lobby was impressive and then we got to the room. Upon opening the door, the damp feeling and musty smell was hard to ignore. Non-refundable we sucked it up. First thing, we used the bathroom and upon first flush, toilet overflowed from the bottom and top. My husband had to turn the valve off to stop it. And yes, it was just a pee 😉. They graciously gave us a new room but the second room was more musty than the first. And my husband who usually has no complaints and is a pretty rugged guy, couldn’t fall asleep bec of the smell and the damp feeling sheets. Clean albeit, they were damp feeling. We did not even shower bec the tub looked dirty. Lastly, I didn’t want to put anything on the rug/floor so I was about to put my bag under the night table in a cubby like space and Before I did, I touched it and a layer of dust accumulated instantly on my finger. I’ve never seen anything like it and I’ve traveled a lot. All in all the staff was lovely yet the lobby is deceiving. I do hope the management sees this and takes action to make conditions better, it really gives Best Western overall a bad name when I’ve historically had great experiences in others.
