"The general manager, Nicole, was amazing, and very polite. She was helpful in pre-arranging a larger taxi, that we needed the morning we checked out, to get us to the train station. The bartender/server, Qusar (?), was also very good and polite in helping people. We strongly recommend anyone who is visiting Basel, Switzerland to stay at this Holiday Inn hotel."

"The Arrow Hotel has become our regular stopping point on our two day journey from the UK to Italy. It is ideally positioned close to the main border crossing into Switzerland, so enables us to stay close to our route without any unnecessary detour. The facilities are good, enabling us to bring food to eat in our room, or popping out to one of the restaurants located close by. The rooms are a good size and most include ‘Nespresso’ type coffee machines, a fridge and en suite facilities. The A/C is extremely effective. The beds are comfortable, dogs are welcome, and the 2 French Lads who own the hotel and man the main reception could not be more polite and helpful. All this makes The Arrow an ideal stopping place on our journey."

"Ground floor accessible room was very clean and bathroom was good for anyone with mobility issues. The bed was only a double. Very pleasant staff. Parking good and secure. Very basic room amenities. Microwave and vending machines available. Bar and restaurant open. Food mediocre and limited choice. Very good access from motorway but surrounding area is an industrial estate. Good value if all you want is a bed overnight with safe parking."
