9.6/10 Exceptional! (49 reviews)
A great hotel in a nice location. We enjoyed our stay. Very clean and tidy. The property had the feel of a grand plantation house. The only thing letting it down was the slight complexity over the amenities. Whilst it has its own pool, everything else you require, such as food, bars, larger pools, etc., needs to be accessed from the Pestana hotels next door, which can be accessed through a route within the grounds. We found the breakfast area well, but never found the bar or other areas, as it was slightly confusing. I think a quality onsite restaurant would be a real asset here, along with some evening entertainment. We went out to nearby restaurants every night, as we didn’t feel the hotel had much to offer in this regards. We had a few small issues with housekeeping, but once we raised the problems, they were quick to remedy them. The hotel is situated about 20-25 min walk from the main town of Funchal - so within a reasonable difference. For the price of this hotel, I think things like an airport transit service would be nice. Overall a nice establishment, with good and knowledgeable staff. Felt more like a bed and breakfast facility. There was no room service, to the best of our knowledge. The acid test is always, would you stay again - I would say “yes” but probably when the rooms were on sale price etc. I would certainly recommend the hotel. Clean, good quality, and nice staff. A little expensive for the amenities on offer but otherwise great.

9.2/10 Wonderful! (305 reviews)
This resort is in an excellent location for tourists. Half way between the airport and the major city of Funchal. The views are stunning. The staff friendly and very pleasant. The food choices were vast and delicious. We signed up for the all inclusive and it was well worth it. Lots of great excursions, hikes, adventures, dining and shopping.

Lovely hotel. Breakfast was excellent, rooms large and comfortable. Pools and spa services were excellent. Walking distance to a lovely mall, beach, and many great restaurants. Short bolt ride to downtown Funchal. Loved it.

If I'm not able to travel, can I cancel my Levadas travel package?
We totally understand — sometimes life doesn't go according to plan. If you've locked in a Levadas travel package and need to amend or cancel it, we're here to help. It's always worth checking out our Customer Service Portal first for information. But generally, if you've taken out your package in the last 24 hours, you may be able to change your itinerary for free. If it's been more than 24 hours, your hotel, airline or car rental company may impose a fee.
How do I get a cheap travel package to Levadas?
One of the easiest ways to save money (and time) is to combine your bookings with Expedia. Hotels, rental cars, flights and activities — we've got everything you need. Pick the combination that suits you and see your savings grow. We know a travel package is never a one-size-fits-all. That's why we offer more than 550 airlines and 1,000,000 properties throughout the world, which lets you customize your Levadas holiday.
Does Expedia offer Book Now, Pay Later Levadas holidays?
Expedia has joined forces with online lender Klarna to make your next trip a little easier on the wallet. Paying by instalment means you can spread the costs of your next big holiday, leaving you with more cash to play with while you're away. Klarna has several payment plans to pick from, so you're sure to find one that fits into your budget. Browse these flexible payment options:

  • Pay monthly holidays: Klarna has convenient monthly payment plans that work for all budgets, so you can escape on that well-earned holiday sooner.
  • Pay in instalments holidays: Into the idea of paying off your holiday in multiple transactions? Then select this Book Now, Pay Later option with Klarna.
  • Low deposit holidays: If paying a small percentage of your trip (rather than all of it upfront) makes it easier to hit that "book now" button, choose a low deposit holiday payment plan from Klarna.

Where should I stay in Levadas?
We recommend staying near the action. Many travellers like to book hotels within easy reach of top attractions, like Palheiro Gardens, Palmeiras Beach and Reis Magos Beach.
What are the top hotels in Levadas?
Get your holiday off to a great start by locking in a room at Radisson Blu Hotel. It's one of most popular properties in Levadas. Another leading option is Novotel Lisboa.
How far in advance should I book my Levadas holiday?
Reserving your tickets early with Expedia means one less thing to worry about. Many air carriers display prices up to 12 months prior to take off. Usually, this is the cheapest time to book. If circumstances have left you booking late, last-minute deals to Levadas will sometimes occur in the weeks leading up to departure.
What does an Expedia Levadas travel package include?
Expedia has all you need to plan your Levadas getaway, but how your package is structured is up to you. Choose from a combination of flights, hotels and rental cars. Looking for some activities to keep you on the go? Once you've made your booking, you can add them too. Whatever your budget, there's a deal to suit your needs.
What should I know before booking a Levadas travel package?
So many places to travel to, so many things to see. With a package, you can cross more of them off your list. Combine your flights, rental cars and hotels and land big savings.
Can I choose my airline with a Levadas Expedia travel package?
Most definitely. Expedia has over 550 partner airlines to select from across the world. With all that choice at your fingertips, finding the right carrier to whisk you away to Levadas will be a breeze.
