"Lovely hotel, the owners were super helpful and very nice. The room was lovely and food was good. We were on a wine tasting trip and the owners gave us some very helpful suggestions. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay and would definitely go back if visiting Chablis etc. We had overcast weather, which was a shame, as the pool looked very inviting."

"Le café-bar au RdCh est pratique pour prendre une boisson. Content que la musique (pas forte au demeurant) ait été coupée à minuit et quart pour pouvoir dormir, puisqu'elle était audible depuis la chambre située +/- au-dessus. Salle de bain certes partagée entre les chambres, mais agréable, joliment décorée et bien agencée. Un support de savon/gel-douche serait le bienvenu dans la grande douche à l'italienne."

"Belle halte pas loin du canal, accessible à vélo. Seul point noir la restauration il fallait réserver la veille pour l'auberge et pas d'épicerie dans le village. Ce serait bien de prévenir les voyageurs surtout ceux à vélo. Par contre l'accueil est exceptionnel de gentillesse et de disponibilité. Halte à recommander "

"Booked for a friend and the stay was unsatisfactory due to lack of service from hotel, for late check-in and also due to poor experience over the theft of a friend's rolex watch at the property, which was denied initially by the hotel, but discovered the 2nd day on reference to Police and request for CCTV footage. Drive-way not suitable for heavy motorbikes and late check-in is a problem with no telephone contact details."

If you want leisurely days, meandering through the local countryside, local villages and peace and quiet, this is the place to go."

"2ème séjour à Vermenton, acccueil sympathique, coin tranquille et reposant, à proximité des commerces, beau parc pour les enfants et ballade. Le sud de l'yonne est vraiment chouette... Les caves ne sont pas loin, musée... Châteaux... A refaire..."
