"The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are great and nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfast is great with a good selection of food. There’s a shuttle service to the beach and to eat street. The laundry service is also good value. Stayed for 10 days this time and would recommend it highly for the overall vibe."

The resort’s primary distinction is its exceptional staff, whose commitment to sincere hospitality is evident from arrival through departure. While the property generally maintains high standards of cleanliness, the expansive interconnected pool requires more consistent maintenance—specifically the isolated section accessible via the left side of the sandy lagoon entrance. Furthermore, while the breakfast buffet provides a commendable variety, the culinary experience would be further elevated by a more diverse selection of desserts and a broader assortment of fresh seasonal fruits."

"I had a fabulous stay at Merusaka. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely lovely throughout. My room was beautiful, and housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything spotless each day. I really appreciated the option of an à la carte breakfast — the food was freshly prepared and the setting felt calm and relaxed. In contrast, the main buffet restaurant was quite crowded, and the variety and quality didn’t quite meet expectations. There were also a noticeable number of flies around the food. That aside, the grounds are stunning and the resort offers a great range of facilities, making it an overall enjoyable stay."

"Very luxurious beautiful hotel in Sanur. Walk 5 minute ro meeting point and take snorkeling boat to Nusa Penida. Lots of outside restaurants and shops on the streets."

"We stayed in Alila Ocean suite. The view was amazingly unforgettable! Room is spacious. But the lights controls were a little confusing. And the temperature control in the shower room was a tad difficult to navigate. Wifi can be a bit sketchy. But all these is compensated by the outstanding customer service and the view that greeted us everyday. Seasalt was beyond fabulous. Shoutoutb to all the smiley and warm staff , especially Dera and Rai. Though building feels dated, it is generally well maintained. I would love to go back again, and stay at room 316!"
