"Matthias and Emilie were very gracious hosts. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Their beautiful animals were immediately our friends. We decided to have their dinner and it was amazing as was the breakfast. A bonus was we met another couple that stayed the night and became good friends with them as well. "Great stay. Recommend this hotel if you are traveling to the left bank. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Great breakfast in a beautiful room. They also own the winery down the road 3 meters and can arrange a 35 euro tour and wine tasting. Pierre was our guide and gave us a fantastic tour. "

"Fantastic place on the garonne river. Loved having picnics outside and taste the wide selection of self pouring wines. Staff were excellent apart from a lady at the front desk that was kind of rude on the fact that we could not bring food to the swimming pool ( that wasn’t explained to us at check in ), she made us feel very uncomfortable. But the two other gentleman at the front desk were great!"

"We are so lucky to have found Maison Groleau in Mombrier which was the perfect place for my daughter and I to stay for a couple of nights while preparing for her forthcoming marriage in Bordeaux.The house is absolutely beautiful-decorated and furnished in a very modern,stylish way,set amongst the vines with stunning views everywhere,extremely comfortable bedrooms,delicious freshly prepared breakfasts which changed each day and the option of enjoying a fabulous gourmet dinner at the house on prior reservation.The owners Guillaume and Pierre-Louis made us feel very welcome and we are very grateful to them for looking after us both so well.It was a magical stay which we will remember with great fondness as part of the whole French wedding experience.A truly hidden gem which we thoroughly recommend and hopefully we will be able to return in the future!Many thanks :)"
