We decided to have their dinner and it was amazing as was the breakfast. A bonus was we met another couple that stayed the night and became good friends with them as well. "Great stay. Recommend this hotel if you are traveling to the left bank. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Great breakfast in a beautiful room. They also own the winery down the road 3 meters and can arrange a 35 euro tour and wine tasting. Pierre was our guide and gave us a fantastic tour. "

"We are so lucky to have found Maison Groleau in Mombrier which was the perfect place for my daughter and I to stay for a couple of nights while preparing for her forthcoming marriage in Bordeaux.The house is absolutely beautiful-decorated and furnished in a very modern,stylish way,set amongst the vines with stunning views everywhere,extremely comfortable bedrooms,delicious freshly prepared breakfasts which changed each day and the option of enjoying a fabulous gourmet dinner at the house on prior reservation.The owners Guillaume and Pierre-Louis made us feel very welcome and we are very grateful to them for looking after us both so well.It was a magical stay which we will remember with great fondness as part of the whole French wedding experience.A truly hidden gem which we thoroughly recommend and hopefully we will be able to return in the future!Many thanks :)"
"A little too distant from town to walk but the coffee shop next to Aldi was superb for breakfast as breakfast at the hotel was more expensive than we had expected. Being described as B&B , we had wrongly assumed breakfast was included"
"This is, without a doubt, a fantastic find! It's a beautiful gîte in a lovely location, secluded and quiet, yet close to major vineyards and quaint villages. The rooms are large and spacious. It is well-equipped with everything you need to spend a week or a month in Bordeaux. The beds and couches are very comfortable. Alain and Lizie were great hosts. Honestly, you will not regret staying here. You’ll certainly get your money’s worth. We’d return in a heartbeat! "
