IN ENGLISH BELLOW The house is located in the small village Hatainville has 2KM Carteret It has 200M SPECIAL From a view of the entire wild beach ... We do not see the other houses, apart from behind the house (making sure the house is unique) is completely surrounded by nature: around meadows or gambols magnificent horses. Leaving you take a path and you are directly in the dunes, with a few hundred meters from a wonderful view of the dunes and completely natural protected area along 16KM. More presence or human construction, the beach is yours ... All the different owner sought the direct contact with a strong nature, and some were away for that (including a Dutch and a Belgian) After over a year of research we managed to find the house where we discover every time some things back into nature area .. and we filled with happiness. You just have to ask yourself on the south facing terrace, for lunch on the large wooden table or the chair to contemplate the magnificent spectacle of nature that awaits you. But the house is so beautiful during the colder seasons after sumptuous walks from the elements you can curl up beside the fireplace that gives warmth to any home. The weather is mild thanks to the Gulf Stream, and can often swim until 1 Nov. The house is completely made of wood and imported from Norway. It was decorated with care so as to be in harmony with the architecture, Scandinavian or maritime inspiration (the house that belonged also a known marine) we focused on solid wood. The house comprises the ground floor a large lounge dining room, large kitchen and toilet room. On the 1st floor 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom with shower, bath and a second toilet. The 3 rooms have double beds, there are two sofas that can accommodate 3 people and an inflatable bed for one person. Serene, peaceful, stunning bird life, beautiful dog walks from gate. Must be joyous in high summer. Negatives? : perhaps a touch more shabby than shabby chic. Some refresh decorating needed. Beds need 2 bedside lights. Kitchen freezer full of owner's food not welcoming. All easily remedied - but if charging premium price then need to get details right. Spinnweben sowie Fliegen (tot und lebendig) und Fliegendreck im ganzen Haus haben uns sehr gestört. Bei unserer Ankunft stank es im ganzen Haus sehr stark nach Fisch und dieser Geruch hat sich viele Tage gehalten. In den Waschbecken befand sich Sand und im Bad gab es Schimmel und Stockflecken. Einige Stühle waren entweder kaputt oder waren so instabil, dass wir sie nicht benutzen konnten. Das Geschirr in den Schränken war teilweise nicht sauber.In einigen Schränken und auch im Kühl- und Gefrierschrank befinden sich Gegenstände bzw. Lebensmittel der Besitzer.Wir haben während der Sommerferien sehr viel Geld für dieses Haus bezahlt und dafür mehr erwartet. Wir werden es nicht mehr buchen. ##### Markus P. Die Ausstattung ist vollkommen in Ordnung, jedoch könnte die Sauberkeit noch verbessert werden und leider gibt es sehr viele Fliegen (Bauernhof in der Nähe). On s’y sent comme chez soi. Le propriétaire est très aidant et disponible. La cuisine est très bien équipée également. Localisation a côté de la plage (parfait pour faire de grandes ballades). Het huis is heel smaakvol ingericht. De keuken heeft een ruime uitrusting waardoor je goed zelf kunt koken, wat fijn is als je in Frankrijk bent. De houtkachel maakt het huis perfect voor een verblijf in februari. Dat is een geweldige tijd om hier te zijn. Mont Saint Michel zonder horden toeristen, prachtig wandelen langs kapen en een natuurlijke kust. Bayeux en alle D-day-monumenten zijn goed bereisbaar. We komen graag nog eens terug als je van Carteret naar de kanaaleilanden kunt varen en de fietsverhuur open is. Het contact met de eigenaars verliep prima. We ontvingen aardige tips. Wel lastig dat je voor mailcontact met eigenaars steeds moet inloggen met wachtwoord. De stoelen bij de eettafel waren instabiel. Alles bij elkaar was het een perfect verblijf. Ein wunderschönes Haus, welches völlig den gezeigten Bildern entspricht. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, es fehlte nichts! Tout le charme d'une maison scandinave dans le cotentin. Aux portes de la nature (le GR passe à 10 mètres de la maison), et les dunes sont juste devant. Confortable, charmant, reposant (meme avec les grenouilles et les oiseaux). L'une des plus belle cotes de France, trop méconnue dans ce mélange de campagne et de mer. Wenn man 25 min durch die Dünen wandert, kommt man ans Meer vorbei an einem tollen Aussichtspunkt. Die riesige Weite ist wirklich beeindruckend. Die Dünenlandschaft beginnt unmittelbar hinter dem Gartenzaun und der Aussichtspunkt auf den riesigen unberührten Strand von Hatainville liegt etwa 500m entfernt. Um an den Strand zu gelangen fährt man am besten 3 Minuten mit dem Auto (weil alles so riesig ist). Naturerlebnis pur abseits jeder Tourismus-Masse. Super Ferien - wir wären gerne länger geblieben! Das Haus ist einfach, sauber, authentisch eingerichtet - die Geschichte zum Haus muss man sich erzählen lassen! ##### Stefan W. The property is lovely and extremely comfortable. There was everything we needed plus so much more. The garden is wonderful - large with mature shrubs and some wonderful fig trees, which our boys loved chasing each other around. Beautiful roses too. And so many birds. From the upstairs bedroom the view is over the garden and then of the dunes. It is spectacular. The location too was perfect. Peaceful, on the edge of a small village, with access to the dunes just outside the door. We never made it on foot to the beach (slightly too far for very short legs) but it was less than 5 mins in the car and it was fabulous. Then another short car ride to Barneville-Carteret with many shops, restaurants, another lovely beach and a great Saturday market. We stocked up on wine and had delicious Moules Frites at one of the restaurants recommended by Maria & Arthur. We couldn't have asked for more. The only problem was that a week wasn't long enough so we certainly hope to come back! Thank you to Jeanne, Maria & Arthur for sharing their fantastic home. And to Mme. Joly for looking after us so kindly while we were there and putting up with our terrible attempts at speaking French. ##### Miranda T.
