"A lovely family-run hotel that has a warm and joyful vibe. The owners, their little girl serving tables on a busy night, absolutely everyone made me feel welcomed and cared for. As a vegetarian, the very kind owners prepared dishes suitable to my diet. The swimming pool was clean, refreshing and set in a serene setting. Even the guests were friendly and courteous. I recommend this hotel highly and will be returning every chance I get. A staff member even loaned me her special glasses to view the solar eclipse last night. I had a wonderful time in this lovely corner of the country."

"We had an excellent fortnight in this unique property with a rural location. Everything you see on the photos are accurate or even better. Ac in the bedrooms was brilliant. The pool was wonderful for us but would easily suit 2 families. The host was as present as you wanted or needed. The nearby village of Cadouin was beautiful. Of course the Dordogne was stunning. There are plenty of supermarkets 10-15 mins drive away. We had the most wonderful time away and would definitely return."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Bernard's place in St. Chamassy The environs were tranquil and beautiful and the salt water pool wonderful for a swim at the end of a hot day. The kitchen is modern, simple but well equipped, with a dishwasher but no oven."
