"A lovely family-run hotel that has a warm and joyful vibe. The owners, their little girl serving tables on a busy night, absolutely everyone made me feel welcomed and cared for. As a vegetarian, the very kind owners prepared dishes suitable to my diet. The swimming pool was clean, refreshing and set in a serene setting. Even the guests were friendly and courteous. I recommend this hotel highly and will be returning every chance I get. A staff member even loaned me her special glasses to view the solar eclipse last night. I had a wonderful time in this lovely corner of the country."
Stunning Dordogne riverside villa with heated salt pool, 10min walk to Tremolat

"The villa is absolutely beautiful. The hosts have thought of everything you may need and more to make your holiday as comfortable as possible. The pool area and outdoor spaces are beautifully maintained. We particularly enjoyed using the fresh herbs from the garden to cook with. I can highly recommend hiring a Kayak from St Cyprienne. We were dropped off 18km upstream and took a leisurely cruise back to our start point. We tried both of the restaurants in Trémolat and enjoyed both meals. There is also a Michelin starred restaurant in the village. Check in and out was easy and both the house keeper and landscaper stopped by to check in on us. The hosts are extremely friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend staying at Le Chabrol."

"Notre séjour avec enfants et petits-enfants -nous étions 19- fut excellent : beauté des lieux, variété des activités permettant à la fois d'être tous ensemble ou de se retrouver qui à la piscine, qui au ping-pong, qui à la pétanque... Aucun souci de confort.Ce beau domaine des Falaises en pleine nature nous a aussi permis de découvrir les beaux sites environnants. L'accueil était plein de promesses et elles ont été tenues !"

"Nous avons passé un super séjour entre amies dans la maison. Elle est idéale pour 4 personnes ! Pascal et Sabine étaient disponibles, attentionnés et super gentils. Merci pour votre accueil !La maison est idéalement située à quelques minutes du centre ville en voiture et un peu excentrée. Ce qui nous a permis d’apprecier des moments de calme.La maison était comme décrite sur l’annonce, propre et ne manquait de rien en équipement. Des ventilateurs étaient disponibles dans chacune des chambres. Nous avons également eu la chance de pouvoir profiter du beau temps et de la piscine à côté de la maison. .Nous recommandons le logement à 100%, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Nous ne manquerons pas de réserver à nouveau la maison si nous sommes à nouveau de passage en Dordogne !"

"Situated in a quiet village in rural Dordogne, this was exactly what we were looking for as a holiday to relax, read books, swim and explore the area. The gite had everything that we needed and the pool was a must during the heatwave. Kim was very responsive to any questions that we had and there were nearby property managers that popped over to regularly check on the pool. Loved the local pizzeria and wee shop for fresh bread in the morning."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Bernard's place in St. Chamassy The environs were tranquil and beautiful and the salt water pool wonderful for a swim at the end of a hot day. The kitchen is modern, simple but well equipped, with a dishwasher but no oven."

"Our stay was excellent. Alexander met us when we drove in and showed us around the property. Our room was roomy and nicely furnished. The bathroom was large. Eveything looked quite new. The breakfast was out of this world. For us the location was excellent for our visit to the National Museum of Prehistory."
