Very clean, good location (2 min walk to train station). Staff very helpful. Breakfast plenty of choice. Would highly recommend for activities in Interlaken and surrounding areas.

Had an fantastic holiday in Interlaken. The hotel was in a great location. The staff were all lovely and the breakfast was very filling! The room was very comfortable and clean and had a great view of The Jungfrau and surrounding mountains. Wish we’d stayed for longer.

Just fabulous. View from the pool and bar is spectacular over the lake and it’s just a short stroll from the harbour- loved it.

I’d like to give an extra star to the team who prepared an early breakfast just for us, as we had to leave before the usual breakfast time. Everything about this hotel is pleasant and comfortable. The restaurant offers excellent food and local wines, and we truly enjoyed our stay here. A big thank‑you to the whole team!

The hotel itself was beautiful, very grand as stated in the name. The staff were ever so helpful and very attentive. The room had a few cobwebs near the radiator and window in the room but other than that the room was clean. Very hospitable and welcoming staff, would definitely stay here again! Intercontinental breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed the indoor swimming pool, sauna/steam room.

We stayed at the Krebs hotel for 1 night in May23 & it was the best hotel (out of the 5 hotels) we stayed in Switzerland! Rooms: We booked for 2 single rooms & we were very pleased that we were upgraded to 2 double rooms. The rooms were spacious & one of them even have a balcony. The old time charm of this hotel really helped enhance the feeling that you are in a more rural part of Switzerland. It is a much more traditional type of hotel which feels more like a large guest house where people are invited to relax in the lounge or sit outside in the sun and admire the views. It is fairly close to the Interlaken West train station and main part of town. There are shops and restaurants nearby that make it easy to find somewhere to get a good meal.

I stayed in the Amaranth for six days last week, and had a great time. Indeed this was my second visit to this hotel, having stayed there previously several years ago. My positive experience then encouraged me to make this second, longer stay. I'd fully back up previous reviews commenting on the excellent staff at this building.
