Our lovingly furnished 2 bedroom apartment is designed for 1-5 persons and very conveniently located to the city center and the Battle of Nations Monument.

The apartment has a bedroom with single and double bed, a living / bedroom with sofa bed and cable TV, a bathroom with bath and shower cabin, a fully equipped kitchen and balcony.

Free internet (Wi-Fi) is also available. Bed linen, towels, hair dryer, cot and high chair are available. Ample free parking is available in front of the house.

Great place for a long or short stay. Well equipped and pleasant. Close to the bus stop and the S-bahn. There is no ticket kiosk at the S-bahn, but you can buy tickets and passes online. Check-in was a wee bit tricky as we needed to phone the proprietor for her to meet us at the apartment, and it will help significantly if you speak German.

Tolle Unterkunft mit genialer Lage

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet und in einer absolut genialen, ruhigen Lage. In weniger als 5 Minuten ist man an der Bushaltestelle, die einen direkt in Richtung der Innenstadt führt. Mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch sehr schnell mit dem Bus zu erreichen (bsw. Kaufland, wenn man Richtung Hauptbahnhof an der Haltestelle Reutnitz aussteigt). Wir haben das Auto nicht einmal benutzt. Zwei Mankos haben wir aber feststellen müssen, weshalb die Wohnung nicht die volle Punktzahl erhält: die Küche. Einerseits ist sie NICHT voll ausgestattet. Essentielle Dinge, wie bsw. Kochlöffel und Gemüseschäler (auch kein geeignetes Messer zum Schälen) fehlen. Davon abgesehen ist die Spülmaschine merkwürdig. Sie läuft manchmal über 3 Stunden. Egal, welches Program (auch Öko). Das Geschirr, das wir benutzen wollten, mussten wir erst von Hand spülen, da es nicht ganz sauber wurde. Der Toaster ist in einem recht üblen Zustand, weshalb wir auf dessen Benutzung verzichtet haben. Generell war in der Küche noch das ein oder andere recht verschmutzt, um es mal so zu formulieren. Die Matratzen sind steinhart. Die des kleinen Bettes ist ein regelrechtes Brett, Harte Stellen (Federn?) machen sich bei jeder Bewegung durchaus bemerkbar. Die Matratze des großen Bettes sind an manchen Stellen etwas durchgelegen. Bequemer wäre die Couch gewesen, die sich ausziehen lässt und eine bequemere "Matratze" beinhaltet. Alles in Allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt aber genossen. Ein bisschen Spülen und Erschöpfung nach einem anstrengenden Tag voller neuer Eindrücke von Leipzig bringen einem auch definitiv den Schlaf :D
