First room we were given was very dated, bathroom floor tiles were all up and down with no grout in between. Toilet bowl filled to the top with water whenever flushed even without use. Offered another room where the bathroom was a bit more up to date (still probably over 10 years old), toilet again filled to the brim whenever flushed (suspect pipework is blocked all round the building). Key cards are shocking and don’t work more than once, advised by the rude woman receptionist that they were magnetic and should be kept away from wallets and phones, to which I told her that it was, and was kept in a completely different pocket all day and it still didn’t work. To which she then responded “it’s also close to checking out time”. Overall disappointed with the stay, the rooms are not worth what they are charging (probably how they’re affording a full renovation this year), but the woman receptionist that served us probably made the stay worse than it could’ve been. Hopefully it’s easy enough for management to work out who was on reception while we stayed there, but the gentlemen who was also on shift couldn’t do more for us.
Would not stay again.
