Upon our trip to Italy, my family and I were looking for hotels to stay together. When we went to book on the Expedia app, it showed there were rooms available for the entire family. I booked mine first and was able to get a room. My family was booking at the same time and it changed to no rooms available. I immediately contacted Expedia to cancel my room or see if there was another hotel to change to to accommodate all of us, they contacted the hotel and they would not refund us and there were no other rooms available for them. We ended up having to stay at a different hotel and I still had to pay for this hotel even though I did not stay there since I was not going to displace the rest of my family. They were not accommodating whatsoever even though I called within 30 seconds of booking, Expedia said they tried to contact the property and they declined to refund us. I feel like it was just a way to get money without wanting to put customer service first I would not recommend for that reason. this was a total inconvenience and they could’ve helped us and chose not to.

"This is a perfunctory hotel in a very off track part town, although close to station and main shopping street. Nice enough, but poor levels of service. Shower was useless, too small and had mould on the tiles. The room was small. If you are looking for a bed for the night then I suppose it's fine ..."
