"I arrived and the owner wasn’t expecting me even though I had booked earlier that day through Expedia. The room was fine, hard mattress but I like that. A bit outdated and hard worn sheets but I slept really well. I asked about dinner and the owner said yes 7:30. I was sat in reception alone (in the dark as the light kept going off) and served a bowl of pasta with chopped up smoked salmon and cheese, a dry crepe and a terrible packaged flan. It certainly wasn’t worth €22 I think I received a...

J'ai du cherche un hébergement en urgence la nuit même. Hotel.com n'a pas défendu SON CLIENT, il a juste éviter toutes discussions pour ne pas à avoir à monter au créneau auprès de l'hotel "Une pause au Logis". Property for 6 travellers with indoor pool heated all year round

10/10 Excellent

"We had a lovely stay. The property has great facilities, with plenty of different areas to explore and enjoy. The pool was fantastic and we particularly loved having the bar in the pool area – a great place to sit and relax. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and the dogs provided plenty of entertainment during our stay. The local pâtisserie was also absolutely amazing and well worth a visit.Overall, a really enjoyable stay in a lovely property with excellent facilities and very friendly hosts."

8/10 Good

"Très bon séjour en famille. Les jeunes se sont bien amusés et nous avons eu du beau temps. Dommage qu'avec la restriction d'eau nous n'avons pas pu ouvrir la piscine."

Large gîte

10/10 Excellent

"We were a family of 5. The weather meant the pool was used everyday and was so valuable! Kitchen had everything we needed. The inside living spaces were a good size and the games room was enjoyed. Although with the hot weather nothing beats outside. Worth noting 2 of the bedrooms were across the house through the games room and dining room. This still left four rooms near each other if kids don't want to be far away but just a mention. All rooms were brilliant and spacious. We would stay again and could easily bring friends and still have space!"

Country house 17 persons

8/10 Good

"Gîte correspondant parfaitement à la vie en groupe. De bels espaces intérieurs comme extérieurs, le tout au calme de la campagne mayennaise."

In Anjou in the castle vegetable garden, Peace, flower and vegetable

10/10 Excellent

"I was tempted to leave a terrible review to put everyone else off but that seemed perhaps a little unfair. This was the most magical, wonderful place to spend time with our children who were utterly entranced with the ponds and loved every moment in the pools. By day #2, one of our 7 year olds was asking if there are schools nearby and could we just live here? Beautiful gardens, fabulous wildlife (learning the French for hedgehog!), late sunsets and a lovely host. Thank you. "

L'hôtellerie de La toile à beurre

10/10 Excellent

"Chambre vraiment parfaite pour se poser quelques nuits et visité la region, je recommande, stationnement sur la place de l eglise gratuit en plus !"

Le Manoir de la Vieille Douve
