"What an unexpected treasure Château de La Ballue. I had booked this stay while touring the Normandy beach landings for just one night. What a shame we were only there for such a brief time. The home is charming and beautiful. The room was perfection and the grounds were such a surprise. I had no idea they were world class manicured gardens complete with a labyrinth! "A lovely, quiet hotel with a very welcoming owner! There was not much choice of restaurants close by- but we ate at the hotel and it was very good. Fish soup recommended! The room was comfortable and the bed even more so. The secure parking was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. "
