Wonderful comfortable roomy house for we two couples to share several days of explorjng the many attractions of the area then comehome to eat and drink around the table

Perfect relaxing break
Just the perfect place for us, La Cachette is a beautifully renovated house, where we wanted for nothing other than that to be able to stay longer. The house is creatively decorated , super clean and very comfortable and the garden is a joy....so many plants and flowers, lots of birds and quirky decorative details, perfect for relaxing during the day and stargazing from the hot tub at night. Kate is very kind, friendly and happy to share her lovely corner of France as well as local knowledge ........and to top it all off........we were able to take the totally gorgeous Robbie for walks (and cuddles afterwards!) Returned home relaxed and happy if a little sad to leave. Thankyou Kate x

Cozy Cottage
The property and the host were absolutely wonderful. The little cottage was beautifully designed and built with so much care and thoughtfulness. It was a real pleasure to spend a few nights here making dinner with our family and relaxing by the fire. Great!!

Luxurious country gîte
We had a wonderful family stay at La Cachette in the first week of August. This is an imaginatively renovated cottage, with attention to detail and high craftsmanship. You don’t need to pack too much, because it has everything you need, particularly the kitchen which is very well equipped. The garden is beautiful and the setting is quiet. The host Kate is very welcoming, puts a reassuringly high standard into hygiene levels and really cared about our holiday. She brought fresh vegetables from her garden and offered good tips on where to visit. We felt pampered and relaxed. All in all La Cachette was just what we needed.

Lovely place with a soul
We enjoyed our stay in Le Ferré very much. The house was so clean, that we felt like the very first guests of the property. Kate was very helpfull and gave us a lot of precious informations. We visited many beautiful places of Bretagne and Normandy. Back at work I often return with my memories to this lovely part of France and your charming stone house. Ein wunderbarer Ort einfach zum Wohlfühlen
Ein herrlicher Garten, ein sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und gleichzeitig lassen sich Sehenswürdigkeiten gut mit dem Auto erreichen. Die Vermieterin Kate gibt gern Empfehlungen für schöne Ausflugsziele. Besonders hat uns auch der Kunstworkshop mit ihr gefallen. Absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

Home away from home
La Cachette is a wonderful cottage, where we immediately felt at home. Cosy and welcoming, with a beautiful garden and very friendly host. There is a lot to see and do in the area, but it is also perfectly okay to stay at home and read a book (or watch a dvd / play on the Playstation as the kids loved to do). We also brought home a lovely souvenir from the garden: we did a casting workshop with Kate and have beautiful botanic artwork to remind us of our wonderful week at La Cachette.

Kate est une femme adorable et sa maison est décorée avec beaucoup de goût (et avec de l'art qu'elle fait elle-même). Elle avait même mis un sapin de Noël pour nous. Tout est présent (en cuisine, DVD's, jeux, couverture, papier de toilette/cuisine, des tabs pour la vaisselle,...) et c'est superpropre! Nous recommandons les yeux fermés!

Samen met ons jonge gezin een week mogen verblijven in deze prachtige onderhouden woning. Alles is super netjes en schoon. Gastvrouw Kate had van tevoren aan alles gedacht en stond ons overal bij. Super fijne tijd gehad!!

Een geweldige gite in een rustige omgeving
De gite is van alle gemakken voorzien. Kate is een hele behulpzame gastvrouw. In de omgeving is van alles te zien. Je hebt daarvoor echter wel steeds auto/fiets nodig omdat de gite nogal afgelegen is.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette coquette maison.
Nous avons séjourné un week-end en famille (5 adultes) dans cette maison mignonne de Kate. Le jardin et la maison sont très agréables et coquets. Cependant l’annonce indique pour 5 adultes mais les lits individuels ont des tailles et gabarit plutôt pour de jeunes enfants ou jeune adolescents. Par ailleurs, la connexion internet est très mauvaise.

Merci pour votre aimable avis sur le gîte. Nous construisons actuellement une 4ème chambre et salle de bains dans la tour qui aura un lit superking et une salle de douche. Les lits simples sont en fait des tailles simples standard de 90 x 190 cm comme indiqué dans les informations du gîte. Quant au wifi, notre situation rurale et les murs épais sont à blâmer! Mais il y a certains hotspots dans la maison où l'accueil est tres bon. Au fait, j'ai trouvé une boucle d'oreille sur le bureau de la chambre double, si vous souhaitez que je vous la renvoie, merci de m'envoyer votre adresse par sms. cordialement Kate

Une maison idéale, alliant l authenticité et la renovation haut de gamme... l accueil est chaleureux, le confort est grandiose, chaque details pensé par nos hôtes a vraiment été apprécié. Un endroit parfait. Ce qu on a savouré aussi, en vrac : Un grande cuisine conviviale pour manger tous ensemble, les oiseaux qui viennent à la fenêtre pour le café du matin, un poêle faisant pâlir de jalousie toutes les cheminées du monde, des lits top, une salle de bains avec douche et baignoire, des wc en haut et en bas (si, si, c est un sacré plus!), du goût et des bonnes idées dans toute la maison, le petit jardin dont on profite même en hiver, et aussi, en dehors de la jolie maison, saint james à 5 mn, fougères à 15mn, le mont saint Michel à 25mn... on a adoré la semaine à la Cachette. Merci nos hôtes, et encore chapeau bas pour le travail colossal réalisé dans cette maison.
