"La maison est atypique et un peu rustique. Il manque des informations dans l'annonce pour se faire un véritable avis de ce que l'on va trouver. Throughout the visit the owners communicated with us to ensure pool maintenance etc was not intrusive. A required repair was dealt with speedily and efficiently. Hotel le Saint Aubin

10/10 Excellent

"Really peaceful, lovely rooms and a warm welcome. Really good continental breakfast. There was even a kettle and decent teabags! This hotel is excellent value for money. Immaculately clean, lovely bathrooms. The rooms were spacious and comfortable - modern rooms but in keeping with the traditional rustic building. The hotel has an honesty bar where you can get a beer (but not much else) although there's no drinks or facilities to make bake a drink in the rooms. The village itself is very quiet - nothing to do apart from go for a walk. The next village along, Brulon, had a few more restaurants/cafes. We ate in the restaurant next to the hotel - worth booking ahead as it didn't look like they did walk-ins. The hotel booked us a table the day before we arrived. We would definitely stay here again and wish we'd stayed more than one night - if you're looking for a comfortable, peaceful overnight stopover, this hotel is perfect."
