This has obviously been a labour of love for the present owners. The rooms are very comfortable and the views over the river and forests were outstanding. The food and service were exceptional and the dining room was a wonderful place to eat. They have the largest Japanese garden in Europe which we definitely return to see. It was very nice to have the fridge in our room since we stopped for wine and cheese in town. The bed was very comfortable and we slept in which was needed after a long day of walking.
