Do Not Rent if you don't enjoy the outdoors..It's a bed with AC and Internet and some Apps on a TV in the middle of 20 acres
Couple of Donkeys want to Deal with you because of the Carrots in the fridge.Paint Horse has passed
You have to open and shut a gate..Motel 6 on I44 will be a better place to stay!!
Close to Medicine Park and Lake Lawtonka
if you ain't use to driving in the country and you get stuck in the snow, mud,or something as simple as running off into a culvert.....Just call and it'll be handled

Bunk House

Place was exactly how it was advertised. Enjoyed our time with the donkeys and horse. Jasper is a hoot! Camp fire was nice and relaxing.

Fantastic Property

This was our second stay. We love the quietness of the property and of course the horse and donkeys. Perfect spot for a weekend or midweek getaway. It is also a great base for traveling to local attractions like The wildlife refuge and Medicine Park. Just make sure you bring extra carrots.

Peace & Comfort

It was great! Loved its location, the donkeys & Bo the horse! Don’t let the appearance fool you, it was clean & neat with no other people around you. Most peaceful place me and the wife has stayed!

I expected rustic accommodations and to rough it a bit but was also expecting a bit more charm and cleanliness. It was a unique stay and it was fun feeding the donkeys in the morning but didn’t quite have the charming surroundings I was anticipating. Some signage to find it would have been helpful. It was easy access to hiking and nature areas.

Nice surprise!

Okay...At first I was a bit concerned about the condition of the cabin. It reminded me of a ranch bunk house and was a bit run down on the outside. Inside, though, was very comfortable! There is a t.v., fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and plenty of hot water. It was so quiet at night! The donkeys and horse visited us when we arrived and again the morning we left. Loved it!!

Nothing fancy

We really enjoyed our stay. The donkeys and horse were so much fun to feed and of course pet and brush and no ranch is complete without friendly cats. This is not fancy comfortable bed and shower. There is a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. The owner does provide a few snacks, bottled water, coffee, sugar and powdered creamer. There is also a tv with apps the Wi-Fi is very spotty so it's hard to watch anything. The owner was very responsive. We would recommend it and will stay again in the future.

This was a very cozy cabin as well as the location. My friend and I were just looking for a place to rest and relax and this was definitely the ideal place to do just that! We never even left the cabin, but just watched Christmas movies all afternoon and evening. We brought carrots with us, so the donkeys were well fed! We will be returning to this cabin in the future!

Incredibly peaceful, beautiful location. Definitely spartan accommodations so bring what you need aside from towels, bedding, and very basic kitchen utensils. The donkeys make this place! They are very friendly, especially big brown Jasper. My son was in love by the time we left. Highly recommend if you're game for a rustic and unique experience!
