"Great for a brief stay in San Clemente! Had an awesome weekend with the love of my life here. The amenities aren't exactly plentiful here, but the staff was helpful, the room was clean, and it was perfect for a budget weekend trip. The A/C also runs very cold, which was a definite plus! Definitely worth it!"

"The property was beautiful and clean. Walking distance to the beach. Ocean view was fantastic from the master suite. The host was amazing from instacarting papertowels, laundry pods, toilet paper to beach chairs to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Condo and rooms were very spacious. We would 100% stay here again. Love love loved it!"

"The hotel is quite grand looking and the room was cozy and clean, but there were serious plumbing issues in my room. The hot water handle for the sink was nonfunctional and the handle for the shower came off in my hand. The Surf Break Hotel is right across from the freeway and was quite noisy. You are charged $25 for breakfast and beach rentals like surf boards and bikes. That gives you a $15 credit at the cafe across the street, which was delicious, and access to the beach equipment, which I didn't need. The staff was very helpful and kind."
