Dionysos Village Resort

"Lovely pool overlooking the bay of Argostoli. Nice furniture around the pool, but not always enough beds when people were visiting who were not staying at the hotel. Room was ideal with a large terrace overlooking the bay and nice furniture to enjoy a drink at the end of the day. Air con worked well. Really appreciated a full size fridge in the room. Showers were powerful but liked to chop and change from cold to hot throughout your experience! Recommend keeping the temp relatively low particularly if you have smaller children like us. The hill!!! Well, we didn’t attempt it. The car didn’t like it at all, so we’re certain our legs and bodies would have revolted!! It’s apparently 10 euros to grab a taxi back up. It’s also only 10 euros to get a taxi back from Argostoli. We stuck to driving where we wanted for dinner and enjoying drinks on our balcony once we were back. Pool bar only visited once - really pricey compared to everywhere else we went on the island."

"Torn between gatekeeping and wanting to tell the world how brilliant FZeen is. Recommend it if you're active in mind & body (yoga, pilates, the stairs...), and want a tranquil, warm haven a bit off the beaten track for a week or two. The staff are wonderful, bend over backwards but not over the top. Couldn't recommend highly enough."

"Oskars is pretty perfect, lovely clean rooms and a stunning sea view from the balcony. The family are so friendly and helpful and the pool has a beautiful view over the sea to Lixouri. There's a footpath over the hill right next to Oskars which provides a quick walk to Argostoli and there are beaches in walking distance. We had such a lovely week and staying at Oskars just made it perfect."

"The property is definitely in need of maintenance ie the showers, the doors, the doors to balcony stiff and hard to open and close, the drain in the bathroom; but the Irinna grew on us both it is like going back in time. The staff are absolutely incredible they make you feel so welcome are kind Friendly"

"We had ten nights at the hotel and I can honestly say it was faultless. The staff are wonderful, the bedrooms comfortable and so roomy and the whole hotel is exceptionally clean. There is a palpable sense of pride in the hotel which is reflected in how well it is run and maintained. We shall definitely return."

"Just had the most wonderful stay here the location is perfect in the middle of restaurants bars super markets bus stops & 7 minute walk to a beautiful beach … The apartments are in a tranquil gardens & very peaceful… our apartment was traditional Greek The beds were comfy The air conditioning was superb !! .. Ice cold refrigerator that had an ice compartment that takes a large bag of supermarket ice .. The bed linen & towels were snowy white.., The owner Panagolis is extremely friendly & helpful we will definitely come back here !!"
