"Location is not in a nice neighborhood. Could not even take a shower as the shower area was not draining and causing pooling of water. Reported the incident but no subsequent action taken by attending staff at night. Hotel conditions needed a fix. Overall, I definitely cannot recommend this facility nor would I try the facility. "

"First time in Brazil, and this hotel was a nice hotel. I enjoyed the proximity to dining, beach, shopping, etc. I would've paid more for a nicer room, but I didn't spend much time in the room anyway. Rooftop pool and bar was a plus and so was the buffet style breakfast downstairs! 9/10 recommend."

The property is beautiful, with superb design and attention to details, surrounded in lush greenery. The pool area is so luxurious, we didn't want to leave it. I would heartily recommend."

"This is a beautiful historic house in a great neighborhood. The host was very responsive. The caretaker helped us bring luggage up/down the stairs. Bedding and towels showed signs of long use (some sheets/towels had holes). Many surfaces were dusty upon our arrival. Overall, it felt more like a hostel than a vacation rental."

"I needed a place for the night and this served well. The breakfast was great. Only negative remark would’ve that there was no towel in the room. Otherwise definitely a place I’d pick again"
