They served Asian and American style breakfast. Fresh fruit, green salad and pastries. We had dinner at the restaurant also. The quality of the food was great. We also had Halo-halo (mix-mix) Filipino dessert! It was good! We received 2 bottled water per night. The staff are really friendly and respectful. Always smiling and helpful. Approximately 16-20 mins ride from/to the airport but no free hotel shuttle. We did not get a chance to go swimming at their private beach and swimming pool because we did tours. All day long. Overall, the property was clean but the room was very musty. Overall staff was very friendly. Randy and Isha made us feel very welcome on our first night! Went downhill from there. We paid for 2 rooms and were promised breakfast. On our second morning a staff member confronted my wife that our 15 year old daughter would have to pay 350 pesos to eat. Very tacky. They charged us 250 pesos when we could not find our second room key! Lots of nickel and diming at this place. Did not feel good. Pool was nice. Lifeguard was super friendly. It is an average resort. I booked a standard room but was very disappointed with the mould odour as I entered. I rang reception and explained about the mould and I needed another cleaner smelling room. I was taken to 2 others on the same floor but all smelt of mould. And I explained this was detrimental to my health. I was then shown a room a few floors higher and I accepted this room. All staff members I dealt with were very courteous and pleasant and they were happy that they could help find the right room for me. I ended up extending my stay by another 4 nights. I mostly ate at the restaurant downstairs which was ok. Stay there on a weekend for my birthday. It was a missed opportunity for marketing purpose to at least acknowledge with a small gesture. A coupon perhaps for a free/discounted drink(!!) We have purchased tickets for an overpriced buffet dinner event. ‘Wild Fire….cooking’ or something along that title. Basically a BBQ meat cooked on charcoal. The event was virtually destroyed by the weather. Dinner was meant to start at six. Until seven pm food was not ready yet. And then the rain came. Rain exposed a total unprepared organised event. What was very disappointing, guests had to find shelter indoors where had to wait for an other hour for the food to be prepared. We were not informed or offered any apologies.
