The staff was awesome and worked out a great room for me and my little dog. The room was a bit musty smelling I've had the same experience before so I was prepared with a deodorizer. The thermostat doesnt go any lower than 65 i prefer 63 for sleeping but it was ok. The brand of shampoo and soap has a great smell!

Location was good. Breakfast was ok. First room we were given was filthy. Bed sheets were dirty and looked like they had not been washed. Desk moved us to a different room. It was cleaner, but the shower would not drain and had almost no pressure. The bathroom did not have a blow drier. The hotel is run down well below Best Western standards.

This BW location is just outside Lansing and just off the interstate. While it seems off the beaten path, it’s close (within walking distance) to a few places to eat, which is quite convenient. We stayed in 277, which is a king suite in a wing of the building that doesn’t have elevator access. The suite was really comfortable and spacious. I just wish the blackout blinds didn’t leak a lot of light - this is a difficult issue for many hotel rooms. Check in was quick and painless. Breakfast was good. The pool area is lovely. The outside area did have some overflowing garbages and some trim coming off the building in spots, but overall the building was clean. Front desk check in staff was very friendly and helpful. A very pleasant stay for an excellent price!
