This slice of heaven boasts Pacific Northwest American Indian artifacts and furs, adding a unique touch to the decor. Unleash the beauty of the breathtaking water view by opening the wall-to-wall French doors in the living room. Feel the ocean breeze as you relax on the comfortable couch or loveseat, both equipped with recliners. The entire living space, along with the spacious deck, is located upstairs. Meanwhile, the double-deep carport and storage area below provide ample space for your belongings. Prepare meals in our fully-equipped kitchen with all principal and minor appliances, including a Vitamix, KitchenAid, and Instapot. Or, embrace outdoor dining and relaxation on the deck while cooking up a delightful meal on the BBQ. In the evenings, cozy up by the propane fireplace and indulge in your favorite shows on the 56" Smart TV (cable and high-speed internet included), or enjoy the array of jigsaw puzzles, books, and games suitable for all ages. The extra-large primary bedroom features a king bed, dressers, a cozy sitting area, and a convenient desk. The second bedroom includes a queen bed and dresser. There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. The view was gorgeous, and it’s a short walk to the beach. We spent many hours bird watching and enjoying the peace and quiet on the beach. We saw deer, bunnies, bald eagles and harbor seals. If you’ve never vacationed on Whidbey Island, I highly recommend it. Why spend hours waiting in line and sweating at Disney when you can enjoy the peace and quiet of this magical place? We went kayaking, whale watching, hiking, and antiquing. We also spent a lot of time doing nothing and having ice cream every evening at Sprinkles. ##### April S. Lots of natural light and fun layout. My only warning is the big set of stairs leading up to the front door. There is really no easy way to get your things into the house. Youvl are either climbing the stairs with everything you packed or hauling it up a big hill to the back door with a wagon. Either way its tough. It was clean and very well stocked. They have done a great job labeling things and making life easy! The beach down the street was one of our favorites. We really liked Freeland...check out the taco place and Whidbey ice cream! Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Wolf Beach Cottage for a long weekend for my husband's birthday, along with our 1.5 year old daughter and dog. The house was clean, comfortable, and we were so impressed with how well stocked the house was, especially the kitchen. (Unfortunately, it was March in the PNW, so we didn't get to enjoy all the warm weather toys.) The water view was amazing, and the house is conveniently located close to restaurants and activities in Langley and Freeland, but it was an easy drive north to explore the rest of the island. As other reviewers mentioned, the house is fairly remote (\~10 minute drive to any sort of shop or restaurant). We also visited from Sunday-Thursday and learned that many restaurants are not open those days. But we still enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the area. We did have one minor issue where the coffee maker wasn't working and property management didn't respond to the number on the guest manual (we later learned this number can't accept texts but wasn't stated on the manual after a slow response through VRBO messaging). Luckily our issue was minor but would advise clearer direction to guests on how to communicate if there are issues. ##### Alana S. The house was very clean, tidy and well organized! 15 minutes to Langley, short walk down the road to a pretty beach.
