Very basic better than hostels.

Only good thing about this guesthouse is that its in a local village. Room is just OK but bathroom is worst. Water goes all over the bathroom, even you wash your hand or face or anything will go straight to the bathroom floor as there is no proper drainage. Lack of privacy with the room as its open to a walkway and people walk in front of your door all the times. Hotel has a reception but you will need to call the owner if you need any help as no one sits at the reception. Owner is a good person and try to help but beware of his brother, he try to cheat. Do not hire the motorbike or car from owner's brother but directly from the owner. Just a very basic budget place to stay but better than hostels.

Bra och prisvärt guest house

Personalen va jättetrevliga när vi kom dit. Rummen va rena och sängen va skön. Hade många bekvämligheter som tex vattenkokare och kylskåp vilket va skönt. Det enda negativa var att det låg en bit från turistgatan och stranden, men har man moppe är det inga problem. Det finns även restauranger i närheten om man inte orkar åka någonstans.

Отель новый, номер чистый и уютный. При заселении предложили доплатить 50 бат, чтобы заселить нас в номер получше, мы отказались и нас заселили в него без доплаты. На ресепшене брали депозит 500 бат, которые вернули после того, как выехали. В целом отель понравился. Но нет лифта, и поднимать тяжелый чемодан на 3 этаж тяжело.

Rust en natuur... met een scooter een prima plek.

De eigenaar moest worden gebeld toen wij aankwamen. Hij blijkt in het aangrenzende regenwoud te wonen maar was zeer klantvriendelijk. Binnen 10 minuten stond er een scooter voor de deur die wij 2 dagen hebben gebruikt voor slechts 60 MR. De natuur is om de hoek, maar zonder vervoer kom je hier niet ver en zijn het rondom alleen maar locals die er wonen en werken.

Very nice guesthouse and good owner

Hi..please to find this place.It is comfortable for us with 2 kids..It is located by the seaside.We can see the wave when standing in front of the guesthouse.Also, the owner suggested one cafe in front of the guesthouse which served fresh fish and prawns.Unfortunately,we did not have the opportunity to taste the dishes because the cafe closed too early...

No frills but decent for the price

No frills guest house. The place is simple. The room is quite regular. The bed is comfortable and the aircon is super cold. There is no beach access near the place. You have to go quite far. There is a little food place that is super close that has really cheap and amazing food! The owner and his brother are very nice guys. They drove me to where i needed to go, since i could not get a taxi at all. If you stay here, rent their bike. They will give you a deal over the ones in town. That is the only way this place will be accessible. If you have a strict schedule then dont stay here. During the check in and check out, i had to wait for a few hours. It was quite annoying to have to wait for soooo long to just get into my room and get a taxi out.

Guesthouse in einem kleinen Fischerdorf

Das Idaman Guesthouse liegt ca. 5 km entfernt vom Flughafen. Startende oder landende Flugzeuge sind nicht zu hören. Das Guesthouse liegt abseits der Tourismusgebiete und bietet ursprüngliches Malaysia. Die Zimmer sind mit allem Komfort ausgestattet, der notwendig ist, nämlich TV, Kühlschrank und Klimaanlage. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und insgesamt ist es nachts auch sehr ruhig, d.h. schlafen ist nachts problemlos möglich. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. In unmittelbarer Nähe sind Restaurants, in denen man günstig die malaysische Küche genießen kann. Roller können günstig über den Vermieter geliehen werden und damit ist das Erkunden der Insel problemlos möglich.

Clean rooms in shabby area

Overall a decent place to make a pit stop. Would have chosen something else if staying for a prolonged period of time. Upon arrival, the manager was at home minding his own, so neighbours who knew him called him to say his guests had arrived. Apparently the dates had been mixed up. The area and reception were exceedingly shabby so our expectations were plummeting but lo and behold, the room was surprisingly fresh and clean! Some ants here and there but we didn't mind much. Comfortable bed, fridge, clean toilet, decent pressure in the shower! Located in dull and sleepy neighbourhood, but close to some good restaurants.

Overall good option while in Kuala Teriang

Owner is very attentive and quickly addresses any requests (ie more free coffee packets or tp for the room). The rooms are not ultra luxury but definitely better quality than some of the budget options in the surrounding area.

Prettige kamer

Kamer voorzien van koelkast , airco , warme douche , boxspring , waterkoker voor budgetprijs. Locatie viel ons tegen , achteraf niet goed op gelet bij boeken . Maar voor weinig 5 dagen brommertje gehuurd en we hebben het hele eiland bekeken. Vlakbij zit een erg goed Chinees restaurant waar je verrukkelijk kunt eten. Eigenaren ontzettend aardig , willen alles voor je doen/ regelen .
