The grounds of the property are beautiful….lots of pretty flowers and greenery. The host and hostess were very friendly and welcoming. The place is a converted barn from 65 years ago, therefore, the bathrooms were on the smaller side (we stayed in Rowland’s room, which is one of the smaller rooms and was the owner's bedroom as a child) and I’m assuming most of the other bathrooms were small but certainly adequate. Shower was nice size with rain shower head and handheld shower. The decorating is eclectic with lots of old antiques and furnishings. Lots of interesting things to see and the owner had lots of collections on view. You had your choice of several items for breakfast….. eggs any style, omelets, pancake, waffles, and French toast. Fruit cup was very fresh and the food was delicious. We enjoyed our stay very much.
