The Rustic Refuge was the perfect size and location for our trip. The mountain view from the back porch was great. Perfect place to relax after sight seeing and visiting family in the area.
This cabin is perfect for a good morning view, night sleep and proximity to all places. The beds were comfortable and a good morning coffee with a view of the mountains was just what we needed. Lots of amenities to help cook as well.
This was our 3rd stay and we are booked for a 4th in October. This is becoming our home away from home—the perfect location for visiting family. Close to everything, clean and comfortable.
I loved Dimitri’s Greek Italian Restaurant. We traveled a lot through the mountains and enjoyed the Mountain view. Getting to eat outside on the back porch was nice.
This was a beautiful cabin with great views. The bed was very comfortable. The area was super quiet and felt secluded even though other cabins were in view. I highly recommend staying here
This was our fourth visit this year, and it has become our home away from home. Larry and Kim make you feel welcome; the cabin is ALWAYS clean and ready for your stay. The location is perfect for our family visits as well as other places to visit.
This cabin has everything you need plus a mountain view. Perfect for a couple or small family. Very convenient to get to town. One of the nicest small cabins we have stayed at.
We enjoyed our stay. From the lovely deck with great views to the fun mountain cabin vibe we had everything we needed for our 8 night stay. Great location and easy access to a lot of activities. We would definitely return!
We had a fabulous time at the Rustic Refuge cabin, which is in a quiet, peaceful environment. There are many nice restaurants nearby, or you can cook your meals in the well-equipped kitchen or use the provided outdoor grill. We will visit the Rustic Refuge again.
This cozy cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for my son and I. It was cozy with lots of room on the outside. The views were beautiful and our dogs loved the fenced in area leading off the porch. We hope to come back again and again!
We have a daughter who lives in Landrum and we were 5 minutes from her and her husband. The location was beautiful and we loved the fenced back yard as we took our dog. I am hoping I can stay there again in the future. We enjoyed it very much!!!

Small but cozy cabin in Landrum. Close to other cute mountain towns. Very comfortable beds, pillows. Secluded location. Owner was very responsive and accommodating. Nice view of mountains. Loved the covered deck.
I chose this adorable cottage due to its location to a weekend event I was attending and it was as close as I could possibly get. Everything was as described; easy check in, and a very safe area for one traveling by themselves . Very comfortable, clean and easy access to town. Definitely will return for the next event in that area.
What a cute place for a little getaway. Had everything we needed and more. Comfortable and really appreciated the great soaps and goodies left. We will be back
Rustic Refuge is the perfect name for this cabin. We stayed 3 nights while in town visiting family. We had everything we needed during our stay. The bed was comfortable. The shower pressure was great. The peaceful scenery and view were very relaxing. We would definitely book again!
This place was perfect! Fenced in yard for our dogs. My daughter loved walking each morning to see the sheep! The place was cozy, clean, comfortable! Everything we could need! It was so peaceful and relaxing! We can't wait to come back! The town was really close by and cute!
This was our second visit and as pleasant as our first. The cabin was as expected and appreciated for its comfort. The surroundings and the hosts are always welcoming making you feel at home. We will be back soon.
Really appreciated the convenience to and from civilization! Just enough to enjoy the quietness and make a store run. Very cute and compact. Property mgt is friendly and pleasant to interact with. Beautiful mountain scenery with outdoor seating. Very clean as well; will definitely recommend for a weekend getaway. So much to explore.!
This was our fifth stay. The cabin is always ready when we arrive and never disappoints. Kim and Larry, the hosts, are there if you need anything and always make you feel welcome. The cabin is perfect for frequently visiting our children and grandchildren. Our dogs enjoy the yard and visiting with Kim and Larry's dogs. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. We keep coming back and will continue to do so.
