"We liked the swimming pool, pool table, ping pong and gym. Unfortunately our room ‘Paul’ was tiny for 4 people, it was in the attic space so incredibly hot, even with fans, and difficult to access. Only one toilet on top floor to share between 10 people. Did not sleep well at property. The breakfast was fine. Dogs are welcome, but hosts dog unruly and out of control, so my dog had to spend all it’s time in bedroom, when we wanted to use any of the facilities. The host was inflexible. If you do...

"Considering it is a place out in the country, with no stores or cafes nearby. I believe there should be some coffee/tea and especially water in the rooms. It was a very warm few days (over 90 degrees F/30 degrees C) and there was no water provided, and there were no glasses in the bathroom. The internet does not work well and I had to teach an online class which could not happen. Do not expect to connect to the internet.

"Celine's property and lodging is just great, very comfortable room and bed, strong wifi, separate shower and toilette rooms en suite, and a very nice continental breakfast featuring Celine's brioche, yogurt, and confitures. Security is strong and parking is right outside the house.
On top of all that, Celine is a very friendly host and is both accommodating and full of information about the area.
We found her by accident, and we look forward to staying with her again."

"This is a hidden gem! Patrick welcomes you warmly and makes you feel right at home. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The quiet and beauty of the gardens adds to the pleasure. "This is the most beautiful and charming hotel in the area. It is the most ancient hotel Saint Emilion, but remodeled and with all the comfort inside and at the same time still conserving that charming and luxurious French old style. Five stars customer service, the staff was great, the cleanliness and of course the Michelin restaurant they have inside the hotel which was a magic experience to try. When I come back I will stay in the same hotel."
