We had such a great time. The staff was so nice. Landau is a nice walkable town and also a home base to visit Diedershem and Naustadt. Definitely worth the visit for wine tasting and authentic German feel.

Excellent all round
Really enjoyed our stay at the Parkhotel in Landau. Friendly, helpful staff and excellent facilities. The pool was a lovely extra surprise. Easy stroll into Landau which has lots of bars and restaurants. Well worth a stopover.

Die Lage ist excellent, nahe zum Bahnhof, zur Bäckerei und einem guten Sushi Restaurante. Das Personal an Lobby ist sehr hilfreich und freundlich.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. We had adjoining rooms in the villa part so we could get air conditioning which was needed in the hot summer. The park and lake behind was sadly closed for maintenance but nice base for exploring this part of Germany.

Ab September 2022 wird der See im Park direkt hinter dem Hotel wieder mit Wasser befüllt sein und dem Urlaubsfeeling in Parkhotel Landau steht dann wirklich nichts mehr im Wege.Wie Sie bereits erwähnten, ist es wirklich der beste Ausgangspunkt und die Pfalz zu erkunden. Ob die Premium-Wanderwege, ob mit dem Rad durch die malerischen Weindörfer oder kulturelle Entdeckungen wie das Hambacher Schloss oder der Dom zu Speyer – hier gibt es viel Abwechslung für Genussmenschen!Herzliche Grüße aus Landau!

Comfortable hotel but a few issues.
Hotel was quite pleasant. Breakfast was good and room was comfortable. Disappointed by the useless WiFi (I tried contacting reception but they told me it was fine and did nothing). So I was tethering on my phone the whole time. Also disappointed by the lack of room cleaning. I understand their desire to reduce environmental impact (and save money) by not cleaning every day, but my room was not cleaned at all during a three night stay.

Hotel has great location in Landau city center. Quiet location. Stopped in hotel for one night when passing by. Parking avalable at hotel or in street nearby. Did not use wellness nor have breakkfast. Would stay the nightt again when passing.

Great option for your stay in Landau
The Park Hotel in Landau is a great location, centrally located and in walking distance to city center, and close the the highway. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet is well put together with lots of great German breakfast options, but also offers hot breakfast, such as pancakes, scrambled eggs and meats. I visited in the winter but I can imagine that the patio overlooking the park lake is a great option to dine in the spring and summer. I will definitely reconsider this hotel for my next visit.

Clean, functional and very friendly
Have stayed before - this is a well placed friendly hotel. Wifi is good (essential for working) rooms are clean comfortable and decent size. My only comments: 1. Air conditioning was not noted on the hotels.com site. Fortunately, during the heatwave. as this was a quiet time one of the rooms with this included was available for an extra 10 EUR. You'd probably be best ringing up directly to check. 2. If there was one thing I would add to the room - coffee making capability. Otherwise, staff were really friendly and helpful, breakfast very good.

Lovely hotel - excellent stay.
We arrived late but were still able to get food and drink from the bar. the room was very clean and spacious and we had a perfect night's sleep. There was ample choice at breakfast and we were just disappointed we were not stopping longer.

Excellent choice
I chose this hotel due to its location , close to the train station, in the city and vicinity to the park. My room had a park view, that I absolutely loved! Good and shopping are all within walking distance and Landau is just a lovely place for vacation. I really appreciate the staff, most everyone from front desk to restaurant staff spoke English very well. I also had the opportunity to practice my German language. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, I never made it to breakfast, didn't adjust to the time change in time for that. Before my stay I had a question and I emailed the hotel , the response came very quickly. Highly recommend the hotel.

Good hotel partly renovated.
Hotel is wel located and room is nicly modernly renovated. Hotel has a correct service level and large breakfast. Easy parking under or in front of. Bathroom clean but outdated and needs that same renovation as room. Hotel is large en well built in older german style, so not too modern.

OK hotel close to city center
I had a pretty ok stay at Parkhotel but definitely not worth 5 stars, I would give 4- . I had an "upgraded" room that was on the 3rd floor at park side. Room is small and quite old fashioned with old small crt TV. Luckily the bed was good and I slept well. Internet access over wifi was a bit slow. Hotel offers a parking garage with a surcharge but it was full when I got there. No worries as there are plenty of paid parking spots by the street and I left my car there. There is a sauna area with three different type of saunas in the basement and also an ok sized pool. There are also some fitness equipment next to the pool, both standard cardio machines and some strength training equipment: I could have done a somewhat proper workout there if I would have been there earlier. I had a nice meal at the restaurant, food and service were both very good for the price. Breakfast was standard german quality and variety, I am always happy with that.

Ich habe das Hotel wegen des Schwimmbades ausgewählt. Dieses war geschlossen und es wurde beim Check in nicht darauf hingewiesen. Auf meinen Hinweis an der Rezeption wurde ich von einer jungen Mitarbeiterin belehrt (!), dass das beim buchen angezeigt wird. Was nicht stimmt!!! Mir wurde mitgeteilt, dass man als Entschädigung Gutscheine für das öffentliche Schwimmbad ausgibt (aber nur wenn man sich beschwert). Die Wände in den Fluren sahen sehr ramponiert aus. Ich werde dieses Hotel mit Sicherheit nicht mehr auswählen.

Wir hatten letzte Woche das Zimmer 202, haben im Rahmen einer Rundreise Freunde besucht. Bei der Abreise habe ich bemängelt, dass das zimmereigene Tablet mangels Konnektivität nicht funktionierte (das WLAN war insgesamt ok!), und habe auf die diverse Probleme im Bad hingewiesen: sehr schwacher Wasserfluss in der Dusche, stark verkalkter Duschkopf, ungepflegte Fugen und Duschwannenstöpsel, dazu Flecken unter dem Waschbecken. Die Rezeptionistin, die am 6.1.23 um 9:30 ihren Dienst versah, konnte mich aber belehren, Gedächtnisprotokoll: ich hätte damit rechnen müssen, hätte nur ein Standardzimmer gebucht. Falls es nochmal zu einer Buchung käme, könne ich mich auf der Homepage informieren: Superiorzimmer hätten Parkblick und sanierte Bäder. Man beginne mit der jährlichen Grundreinigung der Zimmer im dritten Stock und 202 sei eben im zweiten.. Immerhin, den verkalkten Duschkopf notierte sie sich. Die Quintessenz für mich: beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Landau wieder das Amelie buchen, von dort kennen wir solche Probleme nicht. Eine Einschränkung: wir haben weder Spa/Schwimmbad noch Speisesaal besucht, dieses Angebot kann ich daher nicht in meine Bewertung einfließen lassen. Aber: das Zimmer war ein Fehlgriff und, im Gegensatz zum Check-in: die Art der Kommunikation beim Check-out schrie förmlich nach einer Nachschulung..

Auch zu Fuß vom Bahnhof problemlos zu erreichen. Zur Stadtmitte zu Fuß geht sehr schnell. Liegt ruhig an einem Park. Zimmer sauber und angenehm. gerne wieder!

Es war schon schön!
Das Hotel macht einen sehr guten und gemütlichen Eindruck. Wir wurden nach dem Aufenthalt nach einem Urteil über das Badezimmer befragt. Bezüglich zukünftiger Umbauten. Wir hatten sozusagen den Prototyp. Der einzige Minuspunkt wurde durch dieses Gespräch ebenfalls ausgeräumt. Für Fahrradreisende wird das Angebot ausgebaut. Sonst alles top. Freundliches Personal und sehr guter Service.
