"Tout était parfait du début à la fin. La chambre était spacieuse, d’une propreté irréprochable et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Le coin terrasse est magnifique, un vrai petit havre de paix. On entend le doux bruit de la fontaine, hyper apaisant… un vrai moment de détente. Le personnel est exceptionnel : toujours souriant, bienveillant et attentif. Top Lamharra Hotel Reviews

Tigmiza Boutique Hôtel & Spa

8/10 Good

"The hotel staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Everyone, including the kitchen team, was attentive and always willing to assist us. The hotel itself was very clean, peaceful, and quiet, which made our stay especially relaxing after returning from the busy activities and sightseeing in Marrakech. Our only concern was regarding the tour guide who took us to the palaces and through the medina. He initially appeared very professional and trustworthy. However, toward the end of the tour, he took us to a shop away from the busy areas of the medina. Once inside, the shop staff were very aggressive and pressured us to purchase items we did not want. The experience made us uncomfortable and gave us the impression that the guide may have had a connection with the shop or received a commission for bringing tourists there. Because of this experience, we decided to part ways with the guide after the tour, even though he offered to arrange a taxi for us back to the hotel. I believe it is important for the hotel to communicate with the guide about this practice. When a guide is recommended or arranged through the hotel, guests naturally place a certain level of trust in that person. Guides should remain professional and unbiased and should not take guests to shops where they may feel pressured or obligated to make purchases. Aside from this experience with the tour guide, we truly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the wonderful hospitality provided by the"

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely loved our stay at Dar 55! 🤍 This is such a beautiful, charming hotel in Marrakech. The staff are truly unbelievable — so warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. The rooms are spacious, gorgeous, and incredibly comfortable, and the pool is absolutely beautiful. The food was also incredible, and they made everything so easy by helping arrange taxi transfers and anything else we needed during our stay. Our time at Dar 55 was so relaxing and honestly just perfect from start to finish. It felt like such a special little escape in Marrakech. Do not hesitate — BOOK IT! You will not regret it. ✨"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Lamharra?

The best area to stay in Lamharra, Marrakech, is within the Medina, particularly around the main square, Jemaa el-Fnaa, and the souks. The Medina is the historic heart of Marrakech, a walled city with a labyrinth of narrow alleyways and open-air markets. Jemaa el-Fnaa is the central square, a UNESCO World Heritage site that transforms throughout the day, offering street performers, food stalls, and storytellers. The souks, or markets, branch off from the square and are organised by trade, selling everything from spices and textiles to leather goods and lanterns.Couples often enjoy staying in a traditional riad within the Medina. These guesthouses are typically converted historic homes with internal courtyards, offering a tranquil escape from the busy streets. Many riads are located just a short walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa, providing easy access to the main attractions while offering a peaceful retreat. For those looking for a slightly more structured experience with modern amenities, the area just outside the Medina walls, particularly around the Koutoubia Mosque, offers hotels with larger facilities like swimming pools and spas.

When is the best time to go to Lamharra?

The best times to visit Lamharra, Marrakech, are during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) months.During these periods, the weather is pleasantly warm and sunny, with average temperatures ranging from 20°C to 28°C. This makes it ideal for exploring the bustling souks, historic palaces, and gardens without the intense heat of summer or the cooler evenings of winter. You'll find it comfortable for walking around the Medina and enjoying outdoor activities.Spring offers the added beauty of blooming gardens, particularly noticeable in places like the Majorelle Garden, while autumn provides a similar comfortable climate after the summer peak.
