Comfortable and clean room, perfect after a long day's drive. There is a basic breakfast bar which I did not see advertised on the Expedia site, pleasant surprise!

We booked an accessible room ... night clerk stated he did not have a handiicap accessible room and that there records did not show that we requested one. I showed him on my computer that we had a "Confirmed Accessible Room" booked that night, he simply stated that there is nothing he could do as the building only had 1 accessible room. Also we did not have hot water in the next am when we tried ti take a shower.

Sir the room we gave you had the same handicaps shower as the handicaps one did. the shower was the same. also if you would have told the front desk staff you had no hot water we could have checked it for you.

When we checked into the hotel, it was late at night. We had booked the room ahead of time but didn’t arrive off the road until after 1a. The desk clerk was asleep and not very professional or properly dressed. When we checked into our room, there was vomit on the floor and steaks of blood on the toilet. After rousing the clerk from sleep again, he was apologetic and got us a new room. It did not have the same issues. Still, there was no effort to compensate or care for us in the situation and that first room scenario should never have happened in the first place

What in the smells... Just spend a little more and stay next door. This building is way past its hay day and quality is not it anymore. It's a budget stay if you have no sense of smell.

The room over all was good. However there was hair and a used soap still in the tub from the previous people staying there. The heater also didn’t blow warm air and it got chilly at night. Overall it was not a bad stay. Breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful.

It was full of tractor trailers so I didn’t stay there. I didn’t want a repeat visit from a previous low rate hotel by Wyndham properties I went next door to Days Inn- no tractor trailers. Much nicer inside etc.

Back door doesn’t lock. Anyone can come in. Scared to be here with my children. Place is dirty and reeks of drugs. First room, the bathtub was leaking and had to give us another room.

This Quality Inn should be inspected by the Quality Inn reps. When we arrived the lobby area was dark and uninviting. Clerk was unwelcoming and the place smelled awful. Looking over the building outside the window screens that were still there were torn and blowing. We chose to stay elsewhere for the night. All other Quality Inns we had reserved this trip reflected what the traveler needs.

we just had out inspection and we passed. as for the smell we are sourned by cattel and hog farms. as for the screen we had strong winds and have not had time to fix the screens.

Overall a reasonable stay for one night just passing through, unfortunately the area surrounding the property was uninviting, unkempt and looked awful with weeds everywhere and what I assume once to have been a dumpster enclosure broken down with pieces of lumber just thrown into it. The rear access door was not locked or key accessed and there was food thrown on the ground immediately outside of it. The bed covers were stained and far from clean.

Went down for "continental breakfast" and first trip, no coffee, had to get someone and then wait for coffee to be made. Went to get coffee a second time and no milk. No one around to get milk. A guy had been standing at front desk for 20 minutes waiting to check out. Just terrible service. Way too expensive for the condition of hotel and terrible service..

This property was very outdated, old; and, for the price, it wasn’t everything that it was cracked up to be. The air conditioner didn’t work. I understand if you have an older property; but, you really need to put new a/c in. With the tourists coming through this town , for the price they can afford to improve it. They were booked up. We’re on the road tons; so, staying in a nice hotel is very much needed for us truck drivers.

Well the front desk person was really not professional. Did not greet with a welcoming hi how are you. At breakfast the same person was really unprofessional in how he reacted. Too busy talking to the other 2 people in the room. Tripped on the steps and he just looked and said nothing. I know he works long shifts but attitude really speaks volumes about the workplace and just how good or how not they are treated.

Not much choice in Lamar
The hotel shows its age. The lobby, stairs, and hallway were a little musty and very dim lit. The room was clean and air conditioner was working hard but keeping up, the beds were decent for a 1 night stay. The breakfast left little to the appetite that we skipped it. The hotel did the trick but not worth 130.00 per night.
