DETAILS: Our condo is a top floor unit in The Village at Palisades Tahoe Resort. The Condo is on the 4th floor of Building 4\. LOCATION We are located in a quiet part of the Village so you can get a good nights sleep before hitting the slopes in the AM. Building 4 is located steps from the tram, gondola and KT-22 lifts. With access to the ski locker and underground parking you will avoid all the hassle of lugging around equipment. LIVING ROOM Queen Sofa Bed, Large 50" LED TV, Deck which overlooks the Village and view the mountains. Relax in front of a a gas fireplace. Eat at the 4 seat dining table. Air conditioner in the living room for summer. KITCHEN Open Kitchen with a granite bar which seats 4\. The well equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, range, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, coffeemaker, and a full set of cooking and dining utensils - and of course a wine opener! BEDROOM Our condo comfortably sleeps 4\. A King bed in the master bedroom and a queen sofa-bed in the living space. We supply clean linens and extra blankets. Second AC unit to keep cool during summer months. BATH Full bath and shower with vanity. We supply towels, soap, and shampoo so pack light. AMENITIES Within Building 4 you can access a rooftop Hot Tub which overlooks the Mountain. The Building also has a Laundry Room, a Game Room for kids and a Media Room. There is an Elevator which takes you right up from the Below Ground Parking to our Unit. Our unit is right next to the Elevator so you are a 2 min walk to the Tram! The Ski Locker is located on the first floor so you can leave your skis, boots, and gear without having to take it upstairs (and it will keep the unit cleaner too!). Same unit when rented through the resort costs up to 20% more Please note the cancellation policy. We highly recommend travel insurance will reimburse for mountain conditions such as road conditions that may prevent travel. Great well-stocked kitchen and lots of extra blankets and mattresses to sleep in the common area for our kids. The condo is a perfect location to get kids to ski lessons and onto the slopes early! The hot tubs, parking and access to restaurants made it extra enjoyable. And the kids club in the lobby was so fun when the snow was too much to be on the mountain. We made an error in our booking and were late to checkout on our final day by many hours. The owners were incredibly understanding and gracious, and we felt so grateful. Our first time staying here and it was nice to discover this place is its own little world and whatever the season you are right in the middle of it. Amazing place! Any of the condos for rent here would be a special vacation but I found one that met every possible need and it’s located in a unique section of the Village across the alley from the CoffeeCornor. The property had everything we could have needed and our communication with the hosts was above Five Star. It was a pleasure to work with them. The check in/out was easy thanks to a video they provided and the parking garage was great. The elevator opens at the condo. The fireplace and the deck were nice to have. We’ll be back. It is set up just like the pictures. Very quick drive in to Tahoe City. Enjoyed the convenience of being in the Palisades village with easy access to restaurants, etc. and really enjoyed the quick access to bike trails. The unit is dark and musty in a building that needs a refresh. The bed is opposite the elevator and noise abounds. "Spa" facilities are not as clean, organized and fresh as depicted. So close and extremely convenient to ski lifts, shopping and dining. Perfect for two people. It was so nice to have underground parking to protect the car from snow and frost. The hot tub and sauna were hot and ready to go in. Kitchen was nicely stocked with all the amenities for cooking. Comfortable bed with plenty of blankets and pillows. The couch was also so comfy to cuddle up on and watch TV. It was great having the Roku stick to watch a variety of movies and shows. Huge selection to choose from. We highly recommend this place and will definitely return. However, their booking calendar is already full through the summer of 2024\. A big "Shout Out" to the owners that provide such an awesome place to stay while at Squaw Valley (Palisades). This trip was to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. My husband and I had a wonderful stay!!!! There are so many amazing restaurants in the village, the condo also has a great kitchen, took full advantage of both in our 4 days and three nights there. Shopping in the village was great, while we don’t ski or snowboard- we met people who raved about the area. In December the resort is connecting two mountains with their base to base Gondola which will allow more skiing and hiking options. We recommend taking the tram to the top of the mountain where you can go to the Olympic museum and you must try the Granite Bistro! Stunning views & delicious food. The condo is comfortably furnished and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need to cook your own meals. We brought meals that we get from Hello Fresh, there were a few things we forgot, there is a small market just down stairs from the condo they had a great selection of items anyone could need, but Truckee is close by if you need something they don’t have. While we were there without kids. There is plenty for the kids to do while parents do there own thing or with parents. I would recommend the condo to anyone looking to get away and enjoy relaxing, snow sports or hiking in the summer. The outdoor spa was amazing as well!! ##### Katie F.
