The lake is a very short walk away with a small public pebble beach. The kitchen is very well stocked and there is plenty of seating for a full house. Two caveats--the street noise is very noticeable, as mentioned in other reviews. With the windows open on a warm night, the bedrooms facing the lake are not amenable to light sleepers. And also for those troubled sleepers, the beds are pretty bad, especially the two single beds with trundles. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay. ##### Jennifer C. Offered all the space we needed and we loved being close to the lake. All the rooms offered us privacy and the great room was perfect for a large family. I would suggest a few things. Cable cuts out often and restarts - not sure why but the signal must be weak. WIFI should be upstairs, not downstairs. Very weak signal in main part of house.
