"I liked the free parking, amenities like microwave and fridge. Mount shasta was literally a stone throw away and there was Starbucks across the hotel, just in case , I wanted snacks or better coffee."

"I had a terrifying experience at this place! It all started when the MAN who cleaned the rooms knocked on my door first thing in the morning asking if I wanted housekeeping service. There was no sign indicating that I needed cleaning service, so he should not have been knocking on the door of a woman staying ALONE. On the last day, he knocked on my door between 8 and 9 a.m. asking if I was checking out, even though check-out was only at 11 a.m. Why the hell was he doing that? I opened the door with the safety latch on, leaving only a small gap open, and he stretched his neck trying to look inside my room (I believe he wanted to see if I was really alone). I panicked and started packing my things to leave. Then he came back to my room and put his head up to the window trying to see inside! I started screaming and got help from the guy working at the front desk, who was actually very polite. But the housekeeper is a disgusting creep and pervert who should NEVER be working cleaning hotel rooms. Women traveling alone: DO NOT stay at this place! I should have called the police on this man, but all I wanted was to leave. Thank God I had friends staying at the same hotel and they helped me. The man only respected the presence of my MALE friend — before he arrived, he kept staring at me. This creep should never be working at this place!!!"

"This was our 3rd time staying here. The courtyard patio access is helpful for us with a pup. Room was clean and provided necessary accommodations (small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, adequate outlets, clean towels and soap/shampoo/conditioner), the bed however was not comfortable. An upgrade in mattresses would be nice considering the cost per night to stay. The bar/restaurant has decent food but the service was poor. They were short staffed so some grace was given but I think they actually forgot about us a couple times. We missed the cutoff for breakfast the next morning. Didn’t realize it ended at 10am. I had to find the info on the website. The “order here” table sign in our room directed you to their online ordering which was not in service at all. A printout in the room with hours for food would’ve been helpful to be aware of time cutoffs. Overall it wasn’t the best or worst stay but for the cost there definitely could be improvements. We may try it again in hopes some things will be better next time."

"It's an Inn with personalized rooms - so expect individuality. Our bed was big and comfy. The coffee comes in a nice little jar - not sachets or pods - to be put into the traditional percolator. The teabags came in a nice range. The cups: big, pretty mugs. So nice to have a big cup of tea. Good sized fridge and a microwave. Considering how little we were paying, it was a steal. Centrally located, an easy walk from everywhere. Even better - a grocery store is just across the road so we had milk for our tea. Yay! Check-in was slick."
