Duck Cove Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Room was super clean, staff was very friendly, everything was in good shape. The view from our little patio was gorgeous. The beach nearby (Margaree Harbour) is the sandiest we saw on the Cabot Trail. The breakfast, although not included, was delicious and well worth the price."
Trailsman Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"This was a great place to stop and stay on our 3 day Cabot Trail adventure. The Trailsman is clean, easy to get around and staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms patio was a welcomed surprise - it gave us a place to enjoy the weather, the waterfront and sit in our own Adirondack chairs. I happily recommend the Trailsman Lodge!"
Telegraph House

"The hotel is located in the heart of Baddeck, close to shops and restaurants. We lived the cozy feel and would definitely return!"
Margaree-a-ville Cottage
10/10 Excellent
"Gus and Gert were absolutely top notch hosts and were wonderful to talk with. They came personally to walk us through the property (they live next door;) and had a fantastic welcome basket which was much appreciated. Gus gave us great local recommendations and we loved all of them including the Chimney Corner beach which we really enjoyed. The cabin is well appointed with high quality toiletries and appliances throughout. The views are stunning and there is a wonderful hike to a great Salmon river right down the hill. We can't recommend this place enough and we look forward to a return trip one day. Heartfelt thanks to G & G!"
Baddeck Domes

"Endroit incroyable, calme et vue splendide. Tim Horton à côté à pieds et dépanneur . À 5 minutes et moins il y a un village avec une épicerie et saq ! Excellent "
Year-round Vacation Rental - Fly Fishing, Golf, Beaches, Cabot Trail & More.
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed here for just over a week in July 2026. Absolutely loved it! Highly recommended."
Island Sunset Resort
8/10 Good
"Nice location, lots of space. I looked around thoroughly in the space for cleaning issues as we were travelling with kids. We did find mice droppings in the cutlery drawer and other kitchen drawers which means a fail. Under beds, couch etc filthy. Any accomodation needs frequent deep cleaning and it looks like the are skipping this. Rodent issues need to be addressed. General cleanliness is below standard and needs to be taken care of. Otherwise a nice property."
The Normaway Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We've found the perfect haven for your Nova Scotia getaway! This cozy retreat is ideally situated for unwinding after exploring the Cabot Trail. Blending modern comforts with vintage charm, it features a wooden cottage-style setup, a cassette player, hot tub, air conditioning, clean bedding, and ample privacy. We're already looking forward to our next visit! Thanks!"
Cajun Cedar Log Cottages

"Angela was warm, inviting, and very pleasant to work with. For a person who runs it all by herself it was immaculate. Would stay here again!"
