"Whale's Tale is a beautiful home. Wonderful view, including Mt Rainer. Home has everything you need for the stay. Gig Harbor is a lovely town and very close to Seattle. Would highly recommend this Air B N B. Owners were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed."

"This was a dream-come-true family rental for us! Our group of 7 loved the expansive views from the house, deck, & yard and getting out on the water with the kayaks & paddleboard. The hot tub and sauna were big hits and we enjoyed using the fire ring down by the waterfront to make smores and gaze at the stars. We really appreciated having the fire wood available! The house has been masterfully renovated with push-button blinds, modern bathrooms with bidet toilets, & an awesome two-sided gas fire place. A home with 4 comfortable king beds is rare! We appreciated being able to do laundry & loved the huge family table!We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was beautifully stocked with dishes, pans, lots of cooking utensils, and great appliances. We did most of our shopping in the local Safeways or IGA but we did buy shrimp from the Purdy Boys roadside stand near the spit.Preparing meals with views across the bay was a real treat. Thank you, too, Jordan, for providing a hand mixer for my cookie & cake baking!There is a nice little yard for youngsters to play and a rocky beach to explore at low tide for shells and cool rocks. We saw a bald eagle and were expecially priveledged to see a small gray whale on two separate days rising and spouting in the bay! This home provided our family so many great memories. Check in/out was easy and Jordan is quick to communicate for any questions or concerns. We will remember this vacation with awesome family memoriesT"

"The view is relaxing and the covered patio is perfect! Make sure to bring your swimsuit. The hot tub needs to be part of your daily routine. The house is an hour and 20 minute drive to Olympic National Park if you’re planning to hike… though there are lots of closer trails. Highly recommend Hook & Fork on Hood Canal if you’re up for the drive. The view is breathtaking and the oysters and crab are yum!"

"Beautiful home with all the comforts of home. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made meals easy and enjoyable. We loved walking out on the dock and spending time on the patio during the wonderfully cool evenings. The added robes and face masks were such a thoughtful touch of luxury. This home had everything our family needed for a quick stay in the area, and we truly appreciated every detail."

"Above our expectations by far. Mostly secluded. Can't see much from the street, but turning the corner around the tree on the driveway was heaven before we entered !! My lady darnn near teared up which made the vacation b4 it even started !! Totally clean everywhere & well stocked. Didn't expect a welcoming refrigerator surprise, kudos to the host ! We enjoyed the wild life off the back porch. Deer, Deer babies, seal spotting on the neighbors dock, jelly fish, even spitting clams !! Awesome views we don't get at "home'. Total tranquility. As advertised & no surprises. If your looking at this place, please don't pass it up ! #1 on or spots to visit so far by a mile !!"

"We had an amazing stay on Lake Minterwood. The cabin was above and beyond what we expected. We loved spending time on the dock, enjoying the hot tub/sauna and sipping morning coffee on the deck. 10/10 would recommend staying here and will look forward to doing so next time in the area."
